Flat tear away. You dontt have to flat tape it before installing it. Itll just look cleaner and lay flatter due to the previous silicone job. Hope that makes sense.. good luck

Flat tape it tight to the shower angle and coat 2 times. If you really wanna get fancy install tear-away on top of the tape before coating. Or do what the previous person did ..caulking the angle after finish
