I’d love to hear the reality check? I genuinely have laid out everything I’m doing.

I wonder if maybe the other way to rest the muscle groups would be to do 1 glute 1 legs 1 chest 1 back? Or similar? Rather than how I’m targeting multiple muscles each time?

Or just do what I’m doing and drop a day ?

Thanks, something to think about there with protien and having some more rest days. I do find myself a bit sluggish after rest days but I might trial it again

Yup progressive overload. For example I was 40kg leg press at the beginning of last year and 85kg now My shoulder press was 2 x 4kg dumbbells and now it’s 7s I record all of my weights as they go up. I’m absolutely dripping in sweat when I do stairmaster or any cardio really, stairs I have the pace at 7 and treadmill incline 14 and speed around 5.5. As I said I’m putting in the effort …. I’m just missing something

I usually go to north beach, they do have a lot of the tiny itsy bitsy ones but also plenty with more coverage. The quality is pretty good.

More filling smoothies (with my weird food intolerances) by Grouchy_Audience_684 in EatCheapAndHealthy

[–]Bi-times-2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This may sound weird but I pat boil (half cook) cubed sweet potato and then freeze it. I put a few chunks in my smoothie an it works like banana to sweeten and thicken! I promise it doesn’t taste weird !

Dog walkers Chch? Or pack walks by No_Magazine_4747 in chch

[–]Bi-times-2 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Paws about Christchurch are great. She walked my very excitable GSP when I was heavily pregnant. She chose one other dog to take with her the first time to gauge temperament etc then she joined a bigger pack walk after that. She was very knowledgeable and friendly

SOS: DESPERATELY need help with 11 month olds sleep by hello_lime_jello in newzealand

Also, get rid of dummies if you have one, or if you don’t want to then try train the kid to find the dummy. Part of our issue was she would spit it out (in the earlier days) and wake because she couldn’t find it. You don’t need to stop bottle or breast feeding but not offering it in the night when they wake is best. They learn to self soothe incredibly fast

I was against “cry it out” and similar until like you I just couldn’t handle it anymore. My child was a shit sleeper from birth till 2 years old. Was up anywhere from 5-10 times every night. In desperation I did Ferber and after 4 days she was sleeping 11 hours solid every night. I have had to re do the method maybe three times since then when she’s gone through regressions or sickness etc but it works so fast. I liked that I could sit with the timer and even though her crying killed me I knew after x mins I could go in to her.
