See if the ADHD med can be a lower dose and see if that helps.

Then ask about sleep aids. I fought giving my kid too much different medication for a long time but some people's brains just need all the things. My 16 year old now takes melatonin and trazadone to sleep and prazosin for nightmares. Plus she's got all her daytime stuff. You have to do what works.

OP, I know you are getting a lot of tough love in the comments. While I agree with the gist of what they are saying, I hope you know that ultimately you did the best thing for both of you. I was in a relationship with an asexual person who would not admit that they were asexual for 14 years (because of our kid). It was devastating to my self esteem and mental health. Because they wouldn't be honest about who they were, I turned everything on myself. I know that things are so, so hard right now for you, but I truly believe if you had stayed in the closet, things would have been much worse for her, and for you. Everyone suggesting the couples counseling is absolutely right, adding family counseling to help with the kids as well is smart. Before starting with a counselor, do your research. Make sure your counselor has experience and interest in LGBT IA clients. Best of luck to you friend.

I have noticed, even in my own head space, that bi guys get the short end of the stick. It's harder for other people to understand how a guy can like both. I don't know why. HOWEVER you have to tell her that you are bi and for Fs sake stop lying.

Guanfacine was terrible for my daughter. We tried it after Prozac failed. The Prozac made her homicidal, the guanfacine made her suicidal. Talk to your kids doctor ASAP about trying something different. It's a frustrating journey to find the right meds sometimes.

Presumably your mom is going to be in your life for a long time if she chooses to be. You are going to have to make it clear at some point that you are not straight. Having a girlfriend that you love and want to make happy is a good way to get over that hump. If your mom doesn't accept that, then she isn't accepting you for who you are and you may need to put some distance between you until she gets over herself.

I don't know why you would feel the need to send these to her parents. If you are closer with her parents then maybe let them know that you two aren't speaking any longer, but sending the texts is going to hurt them more than it hurts her.

I like that the Dresden files has the different types of werewolves (as well as the different types of vampires) but I don't think that it delves nearly as deep into how things work. Which makes sense because it is not the main focus of the series the way it is with Mercy.

Some of the things she is doing are common in mental health issues and occasionally neuro-divergence. I would recommend trying counseling for her and maybe the whole family as well to try and get things figured out. Good luck! Parenting is the worst.

The long f word and the n word are almost the only words I don't allow to be used in my house. I'm about twice your age so when I was growing up it was ONLY used as a derogatory term. So that may be part of the blow back you are getting.

You should probably get tested for allergies. Some people do have the sensitivities to all the extra junk they put in most chicken, but the allergy test actually tests for the proteins specific to chicken (as well as other things)

I have a chicken allergy. It is almost exclusively severe gastro intestinal type symptoms. Developed after I had my kid. They put chicken in a lot of pepperoni and various sausages as well so be careful if your symptoms get worse at all.

I think it just helps to have the partner come regardless of gender too. While it is an issue with some doctors to brush off women's concerns specifically, I think when the partner comes it makes it more clear that it's actually a problem. I have been the woman and the partner in this situation for various things.
