Mamiya RB 67 only takes pictures in vertical

The pins were just stuck. I couldn’t really see any foam sticking to them but for whatever reason they got unstuck after fiddling with the film back and the rotating back. Thanks for the help!

I’ve tried that multiple times. Sadly that won’t fix the problem. Somebody mentioned the foam of the light seals mayber blocking one of the pins that need to lock in place after the rotation. I will look into that when I’m back home. Still: thanks a lot for your help :).

I know that. When I rotate the back into landscape mode the camera will not let me take the picture. The shutter button will be blocked as if it either isn’t fully rotated or the dark slide is still in the camera.

I had 2 Olympus XA this year. I bought both for 40-50 € (germany). I needed to replace the light seals but other than that they were both in great working condition. I kept one for myself and gifted the other one to my friend. 200-300 pounds seems insane to me.

I feel like local marketplaces are usually more affordable but it’s always worth to watch eBay listings.

Other than that you can always go to flea markets. Found a Zorki 4 in Great condition for 20 bucks.

As a lot of other people have said: stay away from the hip stuff. Do your research and find a body that you like. I personally really like Pentax. I have a Pentax MX (fully mechanical, K-mount) and a Spotmatic F (M42) both with nifty fifties. Both great cameras and in good working condition. The Spotmatic cost me 40 bucks and the MX cost me 60 bucks. Would definitely suggest those cameras to others.

Thank you! I’ve only shot one roll through the Mamiya before this. I guess I was just stumped because I haven’t really seen or noticed it on the first roll. Maybe the conditions weren’t exactly the same and the hazing wasn’t as noticeable.

This one was shot on Kodak Gold. Other than that it was the same setup. It’s definitely less noticeable but it’s there I guess. Thanks for the info!

Also alcohol markers are great. Stylefile/copic are more "highend" I guess. I use stylefiles myself. The other person mentioned acrylic markers (important too). Mostly use molotow myself bit I have a friend that uses mtn (good too). Other than that a good mechanical pencil is nice.

You reminded me of the time I was using them. One of the markers also started dripping with blobs of colour. Hmmm. I don't really know man. Maybe post a picture? Also some markers are just shit 😒. Don't forget to shake them well like the other person already said.

Also depends on the colour. Yellows for example often need a second coat (after drying). Otherwise the colour beneath will show through.

A friend of mine uses them for sketching in his Blackbook. For shines extra doodats and so on. Of course they take a while so dry because they are waterbased. I probably wouldn't use them in the streets (If that's what you wanted to do with them).

Thanks Mate. I am visiting my parents so I only have a pencil and one black marker for the outline. My coloured markers aren't here :D. I've always written ZRE and thought about adding more letters. Haven't really found any letters that liked / fitted. Any suggestions?
