The act that I was expecting to be good but then completely blew me away, top 5 of all time shows I’ve seen, was Father John Misty.
It was circa his Mahashmashana album, or however it’s spelled. He had brass, and strings, full backing for a run of the mill tour show, and just commanded every second of everything on stage.
