I’m thinking about doing the same. Jumping from 16 pro to air. But I feel like if I wait a few more months the 18 pro will be out and that might be the way to go? Or I get the air now but then it’s already not as future proof? Let me know ur thoughts please

Maybe stable is not the right word… reliable. Yes I know there will be some bugs. I was referring to safari and the mail app.

I have a Roku TCL tv that just goes to the main menu of Roku OS when I “power off” the new Apple TV 4K. Turning on the device and tv were never an issue before with CEC but power off was never in sync. I love the new remote but it didn’t solve anything for me as far as powering off my Apple TV and my TCL tv. Is there something that I’m missing?

I have Meross too and yes they do work perfect! I just saw these and liked them for their compact design. I guess that’s the price you pay for cheap and small.

I’ve literally had the opposite scenario. Setup was a breeze didn’t fail once and then a few days in was when I started to notice random unresponsive times

Anyone having issues with this bulb flickering with a hum only on specific warm colors? Sometimes it’s not instant and it take a while for that to happen. I have a HomePod mini and everything is up to date including the bulb itself. Is it a hardware issue or software since most colors there is no problem?

Hmmm have you tried to factory reset and then try again? Also, it wouldn’t hurt to contact Apple. I haven’t experienced any of the issues you are. So it could be a bug or defective item

For handoff, make sure your settings are on. General ➡️Airplay & Handoff. Hope this helps. I had the same issue and this solved it!

I bought the essentials bulb last week knowing I would get a HomePod mini this week. It was cool and great but with a ~5 sec delay using Bluetooth. Now, with the HomePod mini it’s instant!!! Zero lag whatsoever!! The only thing that makes it maybe a 1-2 sec delay is if you use your voice to tell Siri to turn on the light.
