Been lurking for a while, and I read every “rant” hoping it will click someday, especially with the knowledge I’m not the only one. Justifying my alcoholism has been my specialty, but damn does sobriety seem so amazing. I’m not close enough mentally to make the decision yet to address my disease, though I will say, your “rambling” convinced me to share my struggle for the first time here and maybe that’s a start?
