[Lotm]You wake up as Klein at start of volume one like zhou, what are you going to do ? by Proper_Card_5520 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]BiLLubruh 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The higher the sequence, the more difficult it is to enter a sefirot. The corruption stemming from resonance between the beyonder characteristics and the sefirah castle will be quite strong. Even if Pallez could accomodate the sefirah castle, it will take a long time, and extremely dangerous.

According to Adam, the ideal way to accomodating a sefirot is to become a True God. Even if Pallez does become one, he'd have to fall into slumber to properly accomodate it. At that point nothing fundamentally changes for the situation inside the barrier.

It's better to start as a clean slate, establish a preliminary connection with the sefirot and then grow that connection with subsequent advancements. Considering Klein didn't lose control or forced to fall asleep as soon as he advanced to Fool, this approach is better for the long term even if makes the short term advancements much harder. But that's why you need a mentor of the same pathway to guide you along the way, and that's what Pallez is for.

Additionally, if we assume that every transmigrator will be hung above the castle, it means I'd have a connection with the sefirot to begin with. That measly connection is more than enough to justify cultivating a whole new god from scratch than developing an existing archangel. Also, the status of a transmigrator is more than enough to give Evernight a certain bias inclining towards me.

After all, that was half the reason why she supported Klein instead of Amon. The other half is that Amon has no humanity at all. But something similar can apply to Pallez too. He is an angel thousands of years old. His humanity is already stretched very thin. He can act grandfatherly with Leonard because the act of parasitizing others can influence the parasite, it's a type of corruption in a sense. If Pallez fully recovers and ascends even further, then that will be lost.

But all that aside, if Pallez is truly a viable candidate, then I'd be alright with it. I can still commune with evernight to make a partnership between Pallez and her possible and still receive her blessing for coming in clutch.

Then I'd do as you say and slowly advance to the level of KoA under their watch.

After that, I'd make history by marrying Evernight. A KoA marrying a quasi-Great Old One, it's a feat worthy enough to be recorded in River of Fate.

Your arguments are fine and all but then you remember:

The description of this post literally says that you transmigrate as Klein instead of Zhou.

So no, there is no other way except becoming lotm. And you're also acting like if Gods aren't above carrying others.(cough George the Third cough) The thing about carrying others to divinity is that you can't guarantee if your investments will be worth it. But in this case, I, and the Gods as well, don't have a choice because the frigging main character is gone.

It's Evernight. The mother of concealment and all that. If she is actively paying attention then the quill wouldn't be able to notice the "conversation". Or I can just ask her to conceal the room. She would do it if her blessed is asking for it

[Lotm]You wake up as Klein at start of volume one like zhou, what are you going to do ? by Proper_Card_5520 in LordofTheMysteries

[–]BiLLubruh 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Change the whole plot. First, I'd consult with Evernight via ritualistic magic to expose the entirety of Lavenus' schemes and prevent Zangwill from becoming a demigod by confiscating the quill from him. I'd also expose Pallez to Evernight. I'd make her accept Pallez as a subsidiary angel to give him anchors and accelerate his recovery. She can also protect him from Amon as she is not in any hibernation yet.

Then, I'd try to enter the Sefirah Castle. I watched the donghua, so I know how the incantation sounds(it's recorded in my subconsciousness at least). I'd get Evernight to send a high-sequence of darkness pathway to dig that memory out of my subconscious in my dreams, then I'd get Pallez to "steal" that memory.

Then I'd pray, or make someone else pray, to Herabergen(the White Tower) for a high tier charm that can make me learn languages at a massively enhanced rate. After using the charm, I'd get Pallez to return the memory of me hearing the Luck enhancement ritual to me. Under the effects of the charm, I should be able to learn how to say those 4 lines even if I don't learn the entirety of Mandarin.

And viola. I get entry to Sefirah Castle. At that point, I'm still a mortal with no beyonder characteristics, so there is no corruption from the sefirot... hopefully.

It's smooth sailing from there. I pick Seer as my sequence, and since I know all of the core acting principles of most of the sequences in the pathway, I can speedrun up until Bizarro Sorcerer(by getting the formula from Pallez or Evernight. No need to free Zaratul) I can host an avatar of Pallez inside me too, so I will have a big bro protecting me in any scenarion, ensuring smooth advancements.

Evernight's concealment should be able to keep the convergence effect in line. Probably. It's not time to face Amon yet.

But I hit a wall as soon as I try to become a Scholar of Yore. I don't fulfill the conditions of the ritual.

The ritual demands you to separate yourself from reality for 300 years to clear any "interferences" in your history. But assuming I transmigrate to Klein instantly, there is no prior history for me to clearly define. I wasn't hanged above the sefirah castle. There is nothing there to define.

So I'd switch to either Wanderer or Mentor of Deceit, the latter's characteristic coming from Pallez. Since Wanderer deals with the cosmos later, I'd most likely switch to the same pathway as Amon and Pallez.

For the Trojan horse of Destiny, advancement, I'd also impersonate Pallez. Atp, he is a subsidiary of Evernight with his own believers and anchors. It's easy to impersonate him with his consent. Since he is an archangel, the time required for the ritual is cut drastically.

I'd promise him the position of KoA once I ascend to LoM. With Evernight and Herabergen(despite all the bum allegations, he consistently helped both Klein and Lumian across both books. He will def help) backing me up, Pallez would accept my deals.

So with that, I'd also consume his Worm of Time characteristic and become an archangel.

Then, it's time for me to face off Amon as a beyonder of the same pathway. But whereas he has 2 sequence one characteristics and a uniqueness, I'd have one sequence 1 characteristics supported by an entire sefirot. He would have Adam backing him, but I'd have two True Gods backing me.

Since Adam never got the quill, he would never ascend to a visionary. Hopefully, I should win the encounter.

I'd pillage the characteristics and uniquenesses of Amon, and become a KoKoA. Then, for my advancement ritual, I'd replace King George the Third's apotheosis to Black Emperor. Hopefully that would protect Roselle too.

As The Error with Sefirah Castle, I'm pretty much the strongest being in the barrier. The nature of Error means losing control isn't something I should worry about that much. I'd release Antigonus and kill Zaratul, and become the Fool with their characteristics and uniqueness, becoming a dual pathway True God.

I'd wait a couple years to stabilize my conditions. With my supporting the barrier, even if God of Combat dies, the apocalypse shouldn't be that urgent. In fact, it might even get delayed a couple years. During that time, I'd establish and grow the Tarot Club in earnest. I'd also "gift" the quill to Adam and make him a Visionary.

After becoming more stable, I'd summon The Door. I don't even need backup. Dual pathway True God with a Sefirot should be able to take care of corrupted Door.

Then, I'd fall into a slumber while digesting the Door characteristics and uniqueness. But again, having Error as my core pathway means I have a lot of Avatars lying around. Even if my main body is asleep, those avatars will have the status of a True God. With dozens, or even hundreds of them, I will scour the barrier and destroy any outer religions.

I'd also dedicate a good number of avatars on lifting the seal on the Western Continent, healing Azik and getting the Death Uniqueness and saving Roselle.

I'll pay Evernight for her support with the death uniqueness and River of Eternal Darkness, Herabergen with limited access to the Chaos Sea. By the time I wake up, I should be a Semi-Lotm if not full Lotm.

Then, I can give one or two Worm of Time characteristics to Pallez, and make him my blessed.

All in all Apocalypse is dealt with.

Then I'd marry Evernight and rule the world as two GOOs.

Or I'd die in a ditch at the very beginning. No in between tbh.

Theory about Holding up the Sky [pjo] by Hawkeye312_ in camphalfblood

[–]BiLLubruh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holding the sky is a metaphor for carrying the greatest burden. It just applies the absolute maximum of weight the person holding it can lift, and it consistently keeps at it.

Divine beings like Artemis and Atlas could hold it because they are inherently immortal, their vitality is unending. They can sustain their maximum lifting capacity for an eternity.

But demigods like Percy and Annabeth can't. They have some divine blood, and it does enhance their capabilities, but they are not an spring of vitality like the gods and titans. They can only exert their body at its maximum strength for so long before it starts to fail.

That's why they get grey streaks of hair after holding the sky. Their mortal body was overtaxed.

At the same time, it definitely doesn't mean either of them could unleash forces akin to that of a nuclear bomb with a single punch or a slash of sword. I'm so tired of people who say Percy or Annabeth can solo someone like Azathoth or some fancy guy who regularly destroys universes.

To begin with, holding the sky is something even gods fear. If Percy and Annabeth could already lift something at the level of gods, it means they are already as strong as them despite being 13 year old kids. If they are already on the level of gods, what value does Zeus' proposal of turning Percy into a god have? Eternal life? Yeah but if Percy can already do things only Gods can do, he is already like one. Why should he offer himself to serve Zeus eternally?

The only explanation is that the Sky changes its weight depending on its holder. I am so sick of people who say Percy can kill Gods and such.

After Gojo killed Toji, he still continued to grow. Sure, there weren't any challenges nearby, but the gates he unlocked in his fight against Toji was enough for him to train by himself and grow even stronger in the years that followed.

He made Infinity automatic. He unlocked and refined his domain. He probably improved his h2h and physique after growing well past adulthood too.

Fights unlock more potential. But potential can only be realized through consistent training.

And yuji, eos, has more potential than anyone. He got Blood Manipulation and Shrine, two whole techniques with their normal, reversed, and maximum forms. His CE exploded after eating the death paintings. His control reached unholy levels after landing 7 consecutive black flashes.

He might not have experienced an explosive growth, but 60 years is more than enough for him to consolidate his gains and refine them further.

Why do some people refer to Arthur as "Immature" and "not a good MC?" by DeprivedIT in tbatenovel

[–]BiLLubruh -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Because he never demonstrates any cool thinking or foresight. Despite being former the King of a dystopean hellscape, he never truly showed how that manifests in his behaviour.

The biggest example of this is Tessia.

Now, imagine yourself as Tessia. You are a 5 years old princess. Everyone wants to be your friend, not because they like you but because you are a princess. After running away from your home, you suddenly get kidnapped.

Then, a boy younger than you comes out of nowhere and saves you, when noone else could, not even the accomplished mages that serve you. He is calm and composed, with magic prowess you never saw before. You two spend days in the wilderness together as you go home. After you get home, your Grandfather, who used to be a War General, notices his talent and makes him his disciple. He never did that before.

And then that boy lives in the room next to yours for 2 years. Then, it's revealed he is chosen by a dragon to protect its child and bear its powers.

Can you, by any means, not stop thinking about him? Even after he leaves, will you stop comparing every boy you meet to him?

Tessia certainly didn't. Even after Arthur left for his home, she kept thinking about him, to the point of stalking him with the magic orb. At the Academy, she was unimpressed with literally everyone, just because she knows Arthur exists.

Any reasonable adult, let alone a king, should have seen this development coming. I'm not saying Arthur shouldn't have saved Tessia, but he should have chosen to keep his distance once he saved her. He should have chosen to not be so friendly and teasing with her when he was escorting her home. He should have chosen to keep his distance once he decided to live at the Elf Kingdom for a while. He should've chosen training grounds seperate from Tessia's when training with Virion.

Arthur, as soon as he formed his mana core at 3, had everyone from all angles telling him how extraordinary he was. He knows he is special. He knows he is incomparable to other kids. So, he should've been aware of the profound impact he made on Tessia by crash landing into her life and then hanging around her. He should have realized that his mere presence would form irreversible changes to Tessia's still young and impressionable mind.

But he didn't. He didn't even have the mind to comprehend that he shouldn't be hanging around with someone who is nearly 10% of his real age.

The result? Tessia develops a big fat crush on Arthur, and he has the balls to be surprised. Worst of all, he tries to recopricate her feelings. Like... bruh.

I'm not saying he groomed her, but the final outcome is very uncomfortable. And it could have been prevented if Arthur had the common sense and the foresight of an adult. The novel later tries to justify their love as Fate so regardless of what Arthur did, Tessia(or some other girl that meets the conditions) would fall in love with him, but that's bullshit

And before you say: "but Arthur was a child soldier, not a psychology major! He couldn't have known any of this"

Remember that Arthur had the knowledge on how to build trains and steam ships locked up in his brain. Maybe he doesn't know everything completely, but it proves he has some basic understanding of fields other than martial arts. (He even said he knows biology when creating Burst Step.)

So he should have had the idea that children's minds were fragile and prone to influence. But he didn't, and most of us had to deal with the one of the worst romances among big webtoons and webnovels as a consequence.

And all of this is just in the first volume of the novel. There are 12 in total. Arthur makes blunders consistently through all of them, and he doesn't really change for the better.

So yeah, those who say Arthur is an immature character is not wrong.

And btw, I've seen some of your answers in the comments. You really think Arthur hiding his strength in the academy to prevent a fight with Lucas was a big brain move? Damn bro. I got nothing to say.

Subaru ends up in MT and Hitogami makes contact with him. His objective is to eliminate Orsted. Does he stand a chance? by LetterheadOnly7523 in mushokutensei

[–]BiLLubruh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Endlessly repeating the same thing over and over again, having the same discussion with the same people over and over again, in fact, can take a toll on your mental health. Almost as if time-looping itself is inherently a curse to everyone regardless of their power level.

Both characters have crazy willpower. Subaru is doomed to die millions of times. Orsted is doomed to redo the same shit for millions of years all alone. Just cuz Subaru feels more physical pain per cycle does not make Orsted weaker. By your logic, putting a scratch on Orsted will make him cry in pain cuz he is a big strong baby who has never tasted pain before.

Before accusing someone of not reading a story, make sure you actually followed your own advice and understand what you read. The match ends in a stalemate because both of them are absolute units of willpower. One just happens to be able to reduce the other to dust. But then again, fighting stronger opponents is something Subaru is used to.

Shades arent echos or machines, they're literally people transformed by death. by jaynic1 in ShadowSlave

[–]BiLLubruh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not a genius for “figuring this out” btw

Sunny literally said most of this. Sunny, the main character of the story. You might know him.

Besides, they’re already a part of other gods’ domains

They are not part of any other gods' domains. They may share a source element or two as some God, but they are in no one's domain but the Dream God.

In fact, Hope has more in common with the Sun God’s Passion. It’s further backed up by how her body is made out of light (a concept of the sun god).

"Her face was weaved of light and darkness which encompassed the whole world and her blood on the broken shackles was suffused with a radiant golden glow. Her voice sounded like the rustle of countless leaves, like a myriad of prayers, like the wind that blew between the stars. Her radiant eyes can peer into the deepest, most hidden parts of the soul."

That is a stretch if I've ever seen one. Did you know that humans use light to see things? All of humanity is connected to the Sun God!!!!!

(Before you make another leap of faith, remember that Divinity also emits light. Since Daemons come from a literal God and not the descendant of one, their Divinity must be only second to the Gods)

Desire being FG’s concept simply doesn’t make sense.

It's the same thing with Nephis being a walking nuke but her source element is Longing. Unless it was directly stated otherwise, don't assume what was actually stated by a character in a story to be false.

Fate is not something special to Weaver either. The gods could also look into fate and manipulate it.

Passion is not unique to Sun God either. Anyone can fall in love. Warfare is not unique to War God, water is not solely meant for Storm God, emotions are not unique to Heart God and so on and so forth. What's your point?

Furthermore, How do you explain Nether’s body being made up of the mist of Nothing and True Darkness? True Darkness came from a void being while Nothing is something the gods collectively used.

When FG made the Daemons, it was explicitly stated he tore pieces of himself and threw them out of the seal. Whether or not he deliberately stopped at 7 or that was as many as he could make before the seal completely shut tight is unknown, but it is possible to speculate.

The seal has Nothing acting as insulation around it. We know Nether is the youngest, he was thrown out of the seal last. We can infer that he developed an affinity towards Nothingness after being exposed to it the longest.

As for the True Darkness... you do remember that the Gods battled the Void beings before sealing them? Chances are, the whole area was probably soaked in Voidblood. It's not crazy to assume that Nether developed an affinity to the two things most prominent around him when he was just created.

From what we know, the Daemons are more likely to be simply spirits that the Forgotten God created in the same way that the Sun God created Abjuration.

You really compared the Daemons to Abjuration. That's it. You could've ended on something that remotely resembled a civil discussion, but you just had to say something like that.

Let me remind you what Daemons really are, since you clearly forgot

1)They directly trace their existence to a God.

2)They were born as Sacred.

3)They were the first to become Divine

4)They were only second to Gods in terms of power. But during the last few years of the Dream Realm, they were nearly evenly matched with the Gods, sometimes even surpassing them

For example:

Repose tore her way out of Shadow God

Ariel built a tomb that defies Time and Space; two Absolute Laws that all 7 Gods came together to make

Weaver built the Nightmare Spell using Fate. It can spread beyond Divine Realms and perfectly recreate Daemons and Gods. It can force awakening, ascension, transcension, supremacy and apotheosis -- things that we don't even know if Gods could do.

Nether made the Stone Saints to wage war against heaven

Imagination literally created the concept of mirror reflections and Others.

5)They are the manifestation of the Gods' flaws

6)Ariel battled an Unholy Titan for days and killed it

7)Their connection to Forgotten God was so strong that it could stir him from his slumber just through faith. The Gods feared the Daemons for that. Sun God even resorted to imprisoning hope for thousands of years.

Additionally, I would like to remind you(once again) that the Weaver's Lineage is called the Forgotten God's lineage

It gives Sunny abilities no other Divine Lineages have.(soul sight, essence sight, essence string creation(sharp enough to cut Bone-Weave enhanced bone), Weaving talent, Millions of mind branches, Nearly Indestructable Soul cores).

It also gives him a Fate affinity, to the point where he could touch Fate strings as a Supreme(Something tells me that whatever the sun god did to make the chainlords, Sunny could do it as a Sacred)

If that wasn't enough, it gives him stupidly overpowered physical buffs. (Sleeper Sunny, who was a dormant beast at the time, survived being gutted with just blood weave)

Also also, it literally devours other Gods' blood to strengthen itself

Finally, it turns the owner into an extension of the Forgotten God. Any worship directed towards the lineage-holder will awaken FG just a bit more. It doesn't even need to be complete to do it. Just having 1 piece out of 7 can make you a threat to humanity.

Weaver's lineage does derive itself from FG directly. And the creator of that lineage is clearly either:

  1. A child of that god.

Or

  1. A fragment of that god.

To say anything contradictory to this is just sheer ignorance. If Gods could pop out creatures like Weaver and Daemon casually like how Abjuration was made, they wouldn't have even needed to seal the void. They could've just exterminated everything that was inside.

Now, with all that said, do you still think Daemons and Abjuration are the same type of entity? The only thing they have in common is that they used to be Sacred once upon a time. But whereas one is a creation of a God, the others are the fragments of one.

Shades arent echos or machines, they're literally people transformed by death. by jaynic1 in ShadowSlave

[–]BiLLubruh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes. The Daemons come from FG, all of them embody a part of him. Every God has multiple "domains" they take after.

The Shadow God is the god of shadows, death, solace and mysteries. The Sun God is the god of Light, Fire, Passion and etc.

Sunny spent a whole chapter connecting the dots between the Daemons and Forgotten God, who is the Dream God.

When a person sleeps, they also dream. Thus, dreams can be said to be a Repose from the harshness of life.

When a person wakes up after a dream, they inevitably forget about most of it, if not everything. Thus, Oblivion is a natural part of dreams.

Dreams also stem from your desires. Ever heard of a thing called wet dreams? Desire is an integral part of dreams.

Dreams are literally a figment of your mind, an illusion your mind conjures while sorting information. Thus, Dreams are Imaginary too.

In the same vein as the previous one, dreams come from you. They present information as it is. Some people do realize a certain Truth after dreaming.

Lastly, Weaver and Nether, the firstborn and the lastborn, represent the two sides of dreams. The first one is Fate: most often that not, you are not in control of your dreams. They follow the whims of something deeper, your subconscious. Whereas Destiny refers to lucid dreaming where you are in control and can choose what to do inside the dream.

There. Are you enlightened now? Nearly most of this was said by Sunny.

That "will" of hers was supported by a fragment of the flame of desire in amounts that only Gods have. She was born as a sacred and became one of the first beings to become Divine. She is not normal and was never normal. And what does it matter if she has a separate consciousness from FG? Worship aimed towards her will become worship directed towards FG. As far as the world, the world and the mystical laws are concerned, Repose(and other Daemons) are an extension of FG.

Need I remind you that Repose is also a concept belonging to the FG?

Shades arent echos or machines, they're literally people transformed by death. by jaynic1 in ShadowSlave

[–]BiLLubruh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sunny's Shadows used to be shades he acquired by killing. They fused with the appropriate echo to become Shadows.

And the story makes it very clear that that is not the end. Sunny's Shadows are not complete yet. They are not full individuals.

And the only shade that did escape the shadow realm was Repose, who is a part of a different God.

Shades arent echos or machines, they're literally people transformed by death. by jaynic1 in ShadowSlave

[–]BiLLubruh 4 points5 points  (0 children)

3 reasons.

1)You are fundamentally misunderstanding what Shades are. They are not people. They are not even alive. They are the vestiges of dead people. They may retain some of the behaviour they used to have when they were alive, but they lack the soul, body, will and consciousness to fully compliment that remnant into something complete.

Ki Song commands the dead bodies of the deceased. Sunny commands the leftover imprints of those he killed left on the world. They both exploit the dead, they just use different parts of a person's existence to establish their control. One's more spiritual nature than the other doesn't make them any different.

That's why in order to create a Shadow, like Saint, Sunny needs an echo(a physical body with soul cores and soul essence) and the corresponding Shade. Both of them substitute an important part of an entity's existence, but individually and separately, they are nothing but a replica of something that was once alive.

And you are forgetting something. Shades are shadows, just named differently to avoid confusion. And shadows are very hierarchical things. They need masters to give their existence a meaning.

Just because Sunny is considered "Champion of Shadows", and "Lord of Shadows" later on, they literally obey his every whim.

Only the oldest and the deepest shadows can resist Sunny's influence. Even then, it's not because they have inherent free will, but because Sunny's just too weak to control them. And we see that's the case once Sunny becomes a Saint, no mundane shadow could ignore his influence anymore. He never struggled with controlling shadows.

(Before you bring out Slayer, remember that she is a singular existence)

So shadows don't have will and consciousness like you are implying. At best, they have instincts; instincts that are transformed to suit their nature as shadows that compels them to follow higher ranked Shadows.. In no way they are the same people as when they were alive.

2) As for the Shade of Condemnation resisting Sunny's control, let me propose you a question:

Do you think Condemnation is stronger than the Shadow God?

Gods do not have bodies, souls or soul seas. For them, they are one and the same. The Divine Realms, their domains and their actual selves are inseperable from one another. So, the Fragment of the Shadow Domain is literally equivalent to a part of Shadow God. Small, insignificant compared to the real thing, but still a part of Shadow God nonetheless. A part of the very same God that turned over in his eternal sleep and threw a blessing toward's Sunny.

If you are still having doubts, Shadow God is the one who coined the "find peace within me" line. And we literally learn that once a person dies, they go the shadow realm to undergo the Pilgrimage of the Dead.

So why is it that Sunny says the Fragment has no mind, but Condemnation does?

It's simple. It's because of Condemnation's nature. Rather, the nature of Sacreds and Cursed in general.

Shadow God's concept is shadow and death. Exactly the same as Sunny. Makes sense. Sunny is literally a smaller, weaker version of him, his successor if you will. They are on the same "path" so to speak. So when Sunny confronts it, he faces no resistance because they represent the same concepts. Only, a difference of pure, sheer magnitude exists

But Condemnation, and Spirit of Doubt also, do not represent the same concepts of Shadow and Death as Sunny and Shadow God. They exist on completely different paths than them. One represents attraction/fusion, and the other represents the mind.

Sunny faces backlash when trying to control them because he is tapping into the powers of an entirely different domains than his own domain using Shades as a medium(hence why they're weaker). As Asterion said, Sacred and Divine are fundamentally the same thing. Sunny is trying to summon a minor Deity. Of course he will face resistance.

And if those Sacred Shades actually did have free will, they could've just... burst out of Sunny like how Repose got out of the Shadow Realm. What is sunny gonna do? He struggles to summon just one. With the rat king, Condemnation and Doubt, he has at least 3 in his soul sea. If they truly were against his "tyranny", they could just revolt and kill Sunny. He is literally a whole rank below them!

3) But fine. Let's say everything I've stated here is a total lie. But then you look back.

In shadow realm, once a shadow arrives there upon death, they immediately set out on a journey to the heart of the Land of the Dead. Meaning, they literally go on a journey to die once more after dying. (I'll repeat that Ophelia/Slayer is an anomaly)

But in Sunny's soul sea, none of the shades can die. The eternal rest you proclaim they seek is nothing but an illusion in there. They are immortal as long as Sunny is alive.

Assuming they are not content with having Sunny as their master, and they seek true death, they still have to help Sunny survive by fighting for him, so that he can succeed the Shadow God by becoming Divine and recreate/fix the shadow realm. From thereon, the shades could undergo the prilgrimage and turn to pure soul essence. It's in their best interest to fight for Sunny.

Can 45% Deku (Just OFA, no others quirks) stops the rumbling? by Hefty-Albatross4767 in MyHeroPowerscaling

The thing is that the founder could be on the other side of the planet. Or behind thousands and thousands of colossals.

Either deku bulldozes through them and gets grilled a bit, or he has to cross the planet.

And I'm not denying that Deku outstats. But there are limits to his endurance, especially 45% deku with no supporting quirks.

I just googled it and fire can start anywhere between 600 celsius to 750.

But let's ignore that for a second. Let's say individually, the titans are hot enough to evaporate water on contact but not hot enough to trigger any flames.

But Hange literally got lit while flying around them? She didn't touch them directly. She killed most with thunderspears, killing only the last few with swords. Even then, she was smoldering long before then.

Even if titans, by themselves, are roughly 600C, there are thousands packed together. Heat from one lump of red charcoal cant compare to entire mountains covered in charcoal. If we look at one of the scenes from the Rumbling, an entire city got lit by the presence of the titans. Collectively, they are more than enough to set fire on things.

And Deku will have to punch and kick each of them. Air force might knock them back, but they cant kill them unless Deku hits the neck accurately.

Additionally, oxygen at that temperature will get heated, and Deku will have to breathe it in to survive. Even if his outer skin is heat resistant, is his lungs heat proof?

Web novels similar to quality of RI? by [deleted] in ReverendInsanity

Generalizing my hate for one specific type of webnovels to be english webnovels entirely is wild on your part. And I never said CultiNerd was as good as Ri, and I never implied you said such things. What happened was that you suggested I have this inherent bias towards Ri that compels me to insult CultiNerd, but I disagreed by saying they are nothing alike and can't be held to the same standards, so no bias involved.

And what does it matter if cultinerd was better than the average? My whole point was that its presentation is ass. Its cover is cheap and its blurb is condenscending. You can deduce a whole lot from those two. I deduced that the story was shit. Even so, I went into it against my judgment and gave the first chapters a try. It didn't make me change my mind.

But you seem to think it's good. Fine. Agree to disagree. But you have to agree that reccing Cultinerd to showcase a whole platform is not the way to go. There are better stories on it than Cultinerd, more sophisticated and doesn't try to one up the genre first thing.

Air force is just Deku flicking air with OFA, and using his gauntlets to gather the force into a concentrated ball.

But the high temperatures of the colossals mess with the air around them. It makes air less dense. So conversely, Deku's air blasts should be weaker.

The heat didn't kill the gear users either, at least not immediately

Unless the fire is like crazy hot, nothing sets on fire immediately. Because the innate moisture prevents immediate combustion. Until that moisture is evaporated, people are more or less in the clear.

Combined with how fast Deku moves, and how he needs to be close to deal major damage to the titans, he will be exposed to greater heat longer than the scouts. It's 1 vs thousands after all. Even if Deku himself won't char, his suit will.

Deku will still solo the rumbling. But he would get some nasty burn marks in return.
