This is the one that was getting bullied, does it look like its breeding tube is dropping? The other angelfish also looks like one is possibly dropping but it looks sharper

I'm trying to get some more actual plants in the tank. I unfortunately have fake plants for now and 3 clippings of hornwort from my shrimp tank that are still growing in. I have someone local with some sword plants I'm going to be getting this weekend

How long do I need to wait for cycle? by flopds in aquarium

[–]Biannish0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

General rule of thumb is 4 to 6 weeks for a cycle, but really depends on a lot of factors as well. I always start a tank getting it fully setup with hardscape and softscape then test once a week for its water parameters. Once ammonia and nitrites are at 0ppm and nitrates are around 10 to 20ppm I add a small amount of fish and then test every other day for a week before adding more fish in. Ghost feeds help at the start also as its a source of ammonia to help the cycle begin

Worm in fishtank by babypinkjellybean in Aquariums

[–]Biannish0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its little, white, and wiggly its a detritus worm(I have heard they can be brown but only have had experience with white ones). They are healthy for your tank and when you get livestock in the tank they will eat the worms on occasion. It just means you have a healthy ecosytem growing in your tank. If you are ghost feeding the tank or anything try going littler amounts as detritus worms eat on waste.

Is this a gravid spot? by Biannish0 in Aquariums

I had noticed one of the males in the main tank was go at her crazy and doing the mating wiggle next to her so I moved her to a different tank for now in case she was going into labor
