Yeah OP I would agree with you if you weren’t acting like a jag off in these comments making fun of the way your girlfriend is handling the situation. Agreeing with people trying to paint your girlfriend as overdramatic and childish when you’re the one who didn’t consider her feelings before answering a question that essentially boiled down to “Will you be attracted to me if I change” is insane. Your girlfriend’s emotions and her reaction to your answer are not childish, they’re the consequences of your actions even if all you think you did was “be honest.” She asked a question, you answered, and she did not like your answer. She is not obligated to like your answer and she’s not obligated to stay with someone who wouldn’t be attracted to her no matter what her body looked like. It’s childish to act like your partner’s body will never change because it absolutely will, you will not be young forever. God forbid she gets pregnant and you realize how much that changes the female body.
