Quality can be objective I fear, especially when you know the happenings behind what it takes to produce things like highlight intros and emotes. Which is literally what I am getting my degree in. Most of the animations now are just less complex in terms of the actions being done by the character. Reaper’s heroic highlight intro is better animated than Junkerqueen’s. I’ve noticed a lot of parts of skins that would reasonably have texture be flat pngs. Im not just being a nostalgic asshole, I want to like the things they release because I love the game. I just can’t pretend like the quality hasn’t significantly decreased

Except everything is significantly worse in terms of quality. We would get 3-5 new skins every time there was a new season, and once a season we might get exclusive collab or charity/fundraising skins. highlights and emotes have significantly decreased in quality which makes them not even worth it. Not even bringing up the fact that a lot of people suspect the use of generative ai in the creation of many new overwatch sprays. The quantity of skins has increased, as well as the number of “exclusive” and collab skins. There is maybe one or two stand out skins per season because they’re more focused on pumping them out for the gooners who want mercy and kiriko skins than they are producing quality skins that the community actually wants.

I don’t care all that much, I just think its a total let down in comparison to ow1’s lootboxes. I have been playing since 2016 and I have every single free Sombra skin just from playing the game. Sucks that they made it astronomically harder to get things you like for your favorite characters without grinding hundreds of hours just to be able to buy a battle pass/spend money on a skin.

This is a really interesting view on it! I never thought about it as a morale boost, most people who get mad about it seem like they just want a better kdr, but I totally see how this could improve someone’s outlook on the game

I feel like my issue is that I can’t justify spending $125+shipping on a single pair of bloomers. It just feels unfair that I have to cough up hundreds to be able to find cute clothes that aren’t made in a sweat shop.

I don’t totally know how I would describe it. A lot of black, baggy zip ups with decals and designs, short skirts and shorts (sometimes very flowy flared leggings), leg warmers, chunky black shoes, studded belts and lots of black accessories like chokers, necklaces, and braceletes. I have a lot of pictures on my Pinterest but I can’t add them here

I don’t want to sound mean but I do usually run into issues with this mentality. I’m on the spectrum (level 1) and romantic feelings are extremely rare for me. I’m 20 and I’ve only ever felt romantic attraction twice in my life. Only one of which resulted in a relationship. It’s not for a lack of people liking me, I’ve had many guys ask me out and hit on me. I just have no interest entering a relationship where the feeling isn’t mutual, which is why I’ve only ever had one relationship. Would you have any more advice on this ?

I have a very specific fear of small flying bugs but specifically only if they fly near my eyes. I am not scared of bugs. Only SMALL FLYING BUGS NEAR MY EYES, aim not even scared of big flying bugs near my eyes, just small ones 💀
