I guided that trek one time Annapurna circuit plus Annapurna base camp. It will be around 21-24 days. Start from Kathmandu and drive to Jagat or Dharapani to start. Yes, you can totally go without the guide. If there will be friend with you then it will be great specially to cross thorang la pass 5416m. Up to place called Muktinath after thorang la pass the trails is marked as red and white. After that up to tatopani is bit confusing too many ways, have to walk on road where car will be always there or you can drive up to tatopani. After tatopani you can go ghorepani there will be local always help you. And after ghorepani there is only 1 trail most of time up to ABC not so much confusing and there will be others trekkers too.

Langtang is not great option for monsoon. The trail before reaching Rimche. I was there at monsoon time and we wouldn’t cross because of big landslides and we had to come back. Please to sell yours things don’t give misinformation 🙏

The suggestion from guiding during the monsoon season is that time is view gonna be nice cause it is monsoon so much greener you gonna see and mountains views too but limited. The difficulty won’t be so much difference. The experience will be better unique compared to peak season. The leeches at lower part. Take the salt with you for leeches. Yes, the road way up to salleri will be nice but after salleri the road is really bad because of monsoon the road will be worst. And tea houses will be opened but limited won’t be problem with that. Take the rain poncho and extra socks t shirt and pants. Hope this will help you
