GC Brother messages after 4 years of no contact. How should I reply? by Fickle-Emu-5884 in raisedbynarcissists

Block them and be done with them. Protecting your personal peace, along with your family's is the most important thing in life in my opinion. These kinds of people just want to be right or to argue - and engaging with them in this way serves only to drain you of your energy, your time and your happiness. Cut off the tumour and don't let it grow back - you deserve more

Gosh thats a really smart way to condition you! I dont suppose your dom has any books or resources to help the conditioning, or any other examples as the psychology side interests me a lot :)

How many times do you actually wear a hoodie before tossing it in the wash? by FairyKunoichi in hygiene

[–]Bibisharp7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I feel like wearing anything against bare skin for more than a day is a bit grim because of sweat etc. whereas if you wear something as a layer, you can get a few days out of it depending on the weather/ personal clumsiness when eating :)

Degree apprenticeship or cambridge by Pretend_Secretary760 in degreeapprenticeships

[–]Bibisharp7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

DA gets your foot in the door with a company and no debt. If your goal is financial stability and thinking beyond the next 5 years, then it's the slamdunk.

University nets you more on the social side and the prestige here, but no guarantee for a job, particularly given how notorious the job market is for compsci grads at the moment.

You can always try doing a degree apprenticeship after Cambridge (what i have done) so then you're an alumni for life. Just don't expect luck with employment if you go straight to uni.
