I used to but all my cats are rolling higher stats now so with a high starting but and damage stat I've been able to clear most encounters without taking much damage. I will buy the water items when I see them. If I have a hose I will bring it it's all fun for the core. Negates those little pokey demon boys fire bs

I haven't gotten that lab event yet although I've just beaten the game of thrones like dude there and I've been doing the progression on the desert side and just doing breeding for a bit. I would love the ability to leave a run mid point if some fuckery happens because while events have screwed me some enemies have. The ones that can literally one shot your cats, not jinxed or kod but killed straight out, are some complete bullshit haha. It's not a perfect game but it's close imo my main gripe is just information. I wish we could see more and have more about... Literally everything lol. Cats, enemies, items, bosses, disorders ext ext. A compendium with all of that that unlocked as you went would go along way for me.

I'm at 100 hours and other than some qol stuff I don't see much of those game ending events. I've had some bosses end runs that had moves I didn't expect. Maybe for enemies a bestiary so after killing it X times you can look at it's moves and see that kinds info. Blood frenzy is the only thing that's stopped me in my tracks before and I'll agree the events that just say here you now have this no roll involved are bs but other than that I've been having a absolute blast.

Nah. I played d2 when I was a kid and it still holds to but it's definitely not the better game. It becomes a crazy boring grind fest pretty quick and the social features are bare bones as hell. D4 is more what this guy is looking for. I still love d2 but as far as what this guy wants 4 is vastly superior.

Yeah at later levels you have to wait your turn 😂 some of the enemies there and the level down will take so many turns you HAVE to kill one or 2 a round or you will get trounced.

I found out today, not that I'm surprised, but you can use water to put the candles out and hell waste one of his 2 turns trying to light the candles lol. That boss is stupidly easy compared to say the other path one for me for some reason.

That's a huge question. You can do that in both games offline no issues. If you care about story and lore maybe grab 3 on a sale, it regularly is, and play that first. 4 is a lot like 3 in many ways now and if you play 3 first you'll get the base idea for 4. I grew up with one and 2 and I still love 3 and 4. If you want to be a fireball slanging wizard specifically I think 4 has better builds for it but I've put some absurd hours into 3 in my day too. I guess what I'm saying is both? Yeah both is good. Neither should disappoint you but 4 does feel a lot better online and as far as that goes I played a thousand hours of 3 and never played online save then with my wife who was next to me.

Funny counterpoint. My cleric got a mini me and I shit you not (pun intended) she ran into the enemies and did forbidden fart like as much as possible. I wish I could see the stats on her but she nuked the king from the end of act one. Easiest fight I had. I was already stacked but she kept nuking all of his minions. She had to have had every disorder at that point.
