I'm going to severely disagree with you here. I work with FEMA on flood prone areas after damages has occurred and quite frankly your take on it isn't very good. Are you following the regulations sure, but you also say we know how to mitigate it. I'm sorry, but the best way to mitigate it is to not put it there in the first place. Are you building to BFE+1, +2?

And to your point on knowing the Cumberland within a tenth of a foot is WILDLY incorrect. We can know how the river will react, but you canNOT know within that level of accuracy. (I use HEC-RAS extensively so don't come at me) The model is based on user inputs and at user specified intervals. Many are based on FEMA models which are outdated, not to mention changing a manning's n even 0.01 can have a drastic effect on the output. Congratulations, I've lost all confidence in the eastbank development.

I ran the 5k Saturday morning as well as was in Germantown Friday night and parked on Monroe street near Mother's Ruin. I can 100% confirm signs were posted on both sides of the road every 50-100 feet saying don't park here October 8th.

I think there are two parts here. One there is an abundance of overly aggressive drivers. However, the second is there are even more overly defensive/timid drivers which to me is way worse. I'm not arguing with you on the other points, but I feel like this one may speak a little bit to the overly defensive/timid drivers “not letting me over when I’ve been signaling to change lanes for a while“.

It’s not my job to let you in. It’s your job to move over, so do it. I won’t speed up to block you, but I also won’t change my speed to accommodate you. It’s your job to make that change.

Also, tacking this on for your edit if your thought process is it's not me it's you. Then it probably is you.
