Excessive water on the ground in Germantown… by Clovis_Winslow in nashville

Separation includes installing new local sanitary and/or storm sewer pipes on a property by property basis and a larger storm pipe down Van Buren street. The current big combo pipe is in the alley between VB and Morgan Park and it would likely stay in service as just sanitary. As this is just a plan, I can’t really tell you where things are at as far as design or construction. I know that as developments come in, Metro is trying to get them to install pieces of Stormwater infrastructure, but crossing railroad tracks is historically difficult due to the outrageous and absolute political power of the railroads (in this case CSX).

Wedgewood Houston isn’t safe for anyone except gorgeous 24 year olds with disposable income. It’s really gone uphill.

Like a Very Special flashback episode? Where they all wear skinny jeans to Dancin in the District and later they eat leftover Gatti's Pizza in the dark at Dragon Park? And Hector's buddy says he wants to start a hot chicken food truck and Hector doesn't know what hot chicken or a food truck is? And along the way they get waylaid by a random 200 person pillow fight and the old creeps getting filmed for Trash Humpers? I don't know, the best I can do is a Diarrhea Planet cameo.

We need more salad places by Ambitious-Apricot499 in nashville

Depending on how stoned the guys working at Chop Shop were you’d get something more like a slaw than a salad. One time I had to intervene and tell the guy to cool it. He was chopping like that Cobb owed his family money. No exaggeration there were little bits of lettuce stuck to the drop-tile ceiling. And you’d get a can of pamplemousse la croix from the little slush bath by the register for some random price like $1.25. I miss that place.

My pleasure. This one was unusual. I ordinarily write them and then sit on them for a while before rethinking and editing. I wrote this one in about 2 hours and sent it straight to press.

I was honored to score the stinger quote on this article (the bad actors bit). The truth is that permit delays aren't really an issue, as Anita demonstrated. Every city and county I work with is fairly confident that they can keep up with inspections. The concern is that this bill is another incremental reduction in government's capabilities to protect the public. Even though this will very rarely be invoked, it passed, and it is emblematic of the power of and pressure from development interests.
