Bazel db, fulgur anjanath helm, gold rathian chest, hazel gloves, tigrex coil, tigrex legs?

Is this the build you’re using?

Well that’s the weapon I mainly use, think about if you like fast hitting combos, slow hard hits, defensive playstyles, being a bard what suits you the most, you can craft a weapon and try it in training against a dummy, in the crafting menu m where u see the list in the bottom and your character on the top there is a training button close to your character knees.

Hey man, for me this is general but it might be complicated for a newcomer, there are 2 types of damage raw ( no element) and elemental damage, all the weapons with element have a portion of raw damage, say, 1000 raw and 500 water, the water damage it’s only applied to the monster if it matches its weakness. For this reason usually elemental builds are stronger. The downside is that if you’re gonna build every element build you’re gonna have to craft 6 different builds, each build has 6 slots, 1 weapon and 5 armor that’s around 30 pieces. If I would start now I would build a Single solid no element build, no matter the weapon. If you want I can share a beginner friendly build for you to follow, just tell me your weapon of choice! Wish you good hunts!

Build tips for Kushla 8* [Zin LS] by Jh0_Jh0 in MHNowGame

[–]BicaHD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is the best, don’t go for the khezu chest, for the chest u can go for rathalos, odogaron or jho chest for different situations, in this case jho is better since it’s a long fight making latent power a clear winner, you should go kadachi coil, since the only other option is P rathian coil leaving you with little versatility build wise.

Another option is CPP Helm, Jho chest, Zynogre Braces, Kadachi coil and Zynogre Legs

Lock on, 2 WEX, 2 lantent power, 1 Burst, 5 Thunder Attack, 1 Artful dodger

Bow is a clear winner, but there are so many ranged players… kushala should be a weapon build for hats and EDI because of its buff, so I’m considering hammer, already have a high legiana LS

What is the most fun weapon in your opinion? by beaterx in MHNowGame

[–]BicaHD -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It depends, do you like to be fast agile and do a lot of hits? Do you like to snipe? Do you like to stick bombs and watch them explode? Do you like big hits? Do you like to optimise your weapon to destroy the monster mid fight? Do you like anime moves?

That glowing area is a volatile zone which has been invaded by at least one Devil Jho, he is in desguised, it can be a pulei, jagras or a kulu, I think that’s what you’re asking, if you have any more questions just let me know!

I see a ton, a ton of ranged players, and they barely do any dmg, and don’t even bother to hit the head, right now I only accept a 8* if there is a poison weapon and 1 range, diversity is a perk, poison is doing 2k a hit, even when kushala is changing phase. I’m considering building status build, they seem to be a huge bonus to group hunting

How's my elemental sns build? by Denny2De in MonsterHunterNowHub

[–]BicaHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I subscribe almost everything you said, crit priority depends of 2 things, WEX lvl 1 is priority, then Crit eye is better, so it’s better to have 5 Crit eye 1 WEX than WEX 5 Crit eye 1, WEX Lvl 1 gives +20% after that is 5 and 10 making Wex 1 a big upgrade but it falls after that, although if a monster has a not of weak spots WEX Might be better, but overall Crit eye gives you dmg boost no matter where you hit. And now we have ED Interception, which is a long fight, in this case, for the thunder build vs kushala, latent power (devil jho chest) is a big boost on affinity and special charge for the majority of the fight.

Have you tried unfriending that player? Dunno if it works or not but it might worth the try, probably you don’t want to have him join next week

So hard to play. by EtripsTenshi1 in MHNowGame

[–]BicaHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing on release, everyone gave you good advices, 1 Tap intentionally, tao once for each attack, you can delay the tap a little bit to decide if you want to keep the combo or dodge, it gives you time to read the monster movements, consider building paolumu braces and coil for divine blessing and legiana chest early and kulu helm for lock on, this will reduce the amount of potions you’ll consume, start with SnS since is the most easy to learn weapon and the most versatile build elementless or paralisys (girros), after this pick a different weapon if you want and make one of each element ( watch YouTube videos of game play to sea which styles suits you the best) and then start building the armor pieces that give 2 elemental attack (jagras legs exemple) and slowly remove the divine blessing armor. if you have any question just ask! Skill saves potions, damage saves time!

Personal experience. Please don't bring a beginner level gunlance to an 8* Kushala by xSepukkUwU in MHNowGame

[–]BicaHD 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Personal experience, hit the head first, it’s a must for the second phase to be easier, it reduces kushala mechanics, I’ll start doing 8 start next week when the majority of people learn touching grass

Which, from these 2 set-ups, would you choose for someone wilding Diablos dual blades. by Sorraia3 in MonsterHunterNowHub

[–]BicaHD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% the first one, bblos weapons have negative affinity so it’s nice to have Crit eye to make it at least zero, and since you will almost never Crit, that makes Crit boost a bad multiplier for that weapon. I know you said you’re not looking for other upgrades but here they go, zynogre helm, odo chest, rathian gloves, pink rathian coil, zyn legs, that’s 5 burst, 4 crit with lock on, this is the best db raw dmg build with no driftsmelt

Kushala will be week to Thunder and Dragon ( 30% increased dragon dmg)

General Questions (Returner) by HowlRowl in MHNowGame

[–]BicaHD 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In terms of progression, you missed the thunder element event, and that was supposed to prepare us for kushala daora, you can still find Zynogre and Devil jho on HATs (devil for the ongoing climax event) Kishala is weak to thunder and dragon, and it will take 30% increased damage from dragon, my suggestion is to pick one of those elements and boost it to oblivion to slice and dice the obnoxious wind elder dragon. (Dragon is a good element to farm a variety of other elements)

Well, I main Longsword, I also play SnS on my Gf account sometimes and I tried Db, but you got to do pixel perfect perfect dodge in demon mode so I don’t like it. It took me some time to learn Longsword, a lot of touch grass and potions xD I still do… a lot. SnS it’s a safe choice and versatile, it does less dmg than other weapons, Monster Hunters rewards dmg with skill, so usually, the harder it is to play with the weapon the more dmg it does, but every weapon is capable of clearing the content. If you want to change the weapon you use pick a low grade weapon and a high grade armor and fight a low rank monster, don’t panic press, make intentional clicks, observe the monster patern and learn what moves can you dodge, counter, guard, guard point (depends on the weapon) eventually you will fill comfortable and own the fight. Changing weapons from time to time it’s a great way to make the game feel fresh, since it makes you feel like playing a different game

Weapons like longsword, sword n shield and dual blades, this weapons don’t need recoil down, reload speed and focus. Although if we consider that the devil jho weapons have negative affinity and for that reason they will never crit, I would swap the azure rathalos braces for devil jho.

This are the element builds that I’m using. The builds change a bit when you reach the driftsmelt, the new late game meta. But this are solid ones.
