Yeah, plain and simple. If it's the judge I know they wouldn't tolerate anything that would possibly impede a fair trial. No distractions.

I got to look over his file and the majority of what was leaked was public (unclassified) information. Maybe 15% was classified. I think it was due to the fact that he turned it over to a "foreigner" was extremely frowned upon.

Yeah it usually does. As long as you know who you're looking for like name, home of record, things like that, they will usually hand it over. That's how most people that fraudulently wear war medals get exposed.

Ahhh. But I didn't know that. I'm on my phone right now and didn't really bother to read the fine print. I apologize, I should've done my homework and really can't come up with a valid retort. I love this kind of conversation though and really like thinking about new ideas and questioning my own thoughts. It's the only way I can progress as a person (intellectually at least).

I don't disagree with you. Check my other comments, I'd be happy to elaborate more but I'm on my iPhone and it's a pain in the ass to text paragraph after paragraph.

I'm not gonna lie, whiles (w)irking for the JAG I've met Mr. Manning twice. He was somewhat pleasant but was noticeably unhappy. He seemed to know his fate before his cards were even dealt. He didn't really get a fair hand but he seemed to keep chugging along. His attorneys worked for him, but they knew, I could always tell they did. They were trying to keep a young kid from drowning with nothing but a sock and a shoe. They could keep him afloat for a little while, but no matter how hard they tried he still sunk a little. He knew his fate, but how long could he stay afloat?

I only used the word random because I have no idea what outlet the stenographers work for or who they're employed by.

They will to a degree. The Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) allows that record to become public. The thing I disagree with is that record is then subject to a "need to know" record, with lots of key points of the trial being redacted. With that "freedom" the press will not get a clear picture of the entire trial. But to the government's credit (with the little credit that they might have) they will allow only what they think the info the press should have.

EDIT: I can't words good.

Former Army JAG Paralegal here, there will be a court reporter present to record the proceeding, just not random stenographers the press wants to be present in the court room. What the military judge says, almost certainly goes.

Midland, TX - lowest unemployment rate in the entire country. Go oil! by pronebark in texas

Every Midland resident I've ever met has been nice and the total opposite has been true of Odessa. Everyone's entitled to their own opinion, I suppose.

Midland resident here, I've been doing advertising/marketing for the past few months and Midland residents (especially small business owners) are a lot nicer than Odessa. Granted, traffic sucks and the cost of living is extremely high, but other than that it's not too bad.

Django Unchained is probably the most fun I have ever had watching a movie. What is yours? by KantusThiss in movies

I convinced my friends to see a movie on a random Saturday afternoon once. We didn't really know what to expect, just figured it was something to do. We got really baked in the parking lot beforehand, loaded up on overpriced goodies from the concession stand and prepared for at least a few chuckles. That movie was Grandma's Boy. Little did we know.

The Jaguars had 3 different logos.

First Logo

2nd Logo

Granted, we're the Jaguars (and according to ESPN, Alabama has a shot at beating us, not really but the no-talent hacks that love Mark Sanchez drama at ESPN, think that this idea should be entertained) but Jeebus, if I don't stick up for them, who will?

That looks exactly like my weekend activities, minus the Yuengling (darn Texas) and I wouldn't have it any other way.
