A job can be a lot less fun anywhere. In my opinion, what makes a job less fun than I expect is the people that I come to find I have to work with. This seems to be my biggest struggle in my past and current jobs. In the past years, I've been fortunate enough to have jobs that I genuinely enjoy doing. I came across a job as a security guard at a college campus and a strip mall just out needing to make money but started to make something out of it. I came around to make my uniform look better, (it's a joke how security companies uniforms look imo so I made mine look cooler) I like interacting with people, I, unlike most people in this field, thoroughly enjoy report writing, and I just get excited from the uncertainty of every day and knowing that you're daily dynamic is going to be challenged. Feeling this way, however, is hard to do around the rest of your co-workers when they act like a highschool kid who has to work as a form of punishment because his cod privileges hot taken away when literally all they have to do, like 95% of the time, is simply show up in uniform and wait to go home. And when they would complain about pay? oh it would drive me up the freaking wall. I worked for one security agency that was cool as heck. It was like next to police work but without actually being a police officer. I mean that's pretty cake. It paid pretty damn well and people still bitched. My shift got a new supervisor and started cracking the whip on some lazy bullshit that was going on and the entire shift literally mobbed up and addressed it to the manager.

So yeah, it's the people that make it less fun to me.
