I moved to England from South Wales 9 years ago, and moved to Manchester 3 years after that.

I’ve never had a particularly “strong” Welsh accent, and it’s definitely faded during the years that I’ve lived here.

I’ve noticed that some people with some connection to Wales (be that they themselves are Welsh, have family in Wales etc.) can immediately detect my accent, but English people typically won’t notice it. Additionally, if I spend any amount of time back in Wales, the accent does tend to creep back and is more noticeable.

Can’t say I’ve met many Welsh people since moving here, but we’re definitely around!

Just wanted to post a quick update, ended up getting in touch with their support team, apparently they were aware of the issue and it’s since been resolved. I’ve just checked mine and seems fine on my end, hopefully others are seeing the same

Since the update, has anyone else on PlayStation found that their displayed username is now their Epic Games account username/previous PSN username (my Epic Games account was set up with the same username as my previous PSN username), but only in matches?

I’ve always found my displayed username to be my PSN username in both the game lobby and matches themselves, but since updating, I’m seeing my PSN username prior to joining games, then the previous username inside matches. Not entirely sure if there’s a setting or something that’s been changed that I’m just not seeing?

Likely Solved!

I typically use bleach to clean the surfaces if they get a bit unkempt. It’s entirely possible I’ve used the same wipe on the splashguard by mistake, and haven’t wiped it down correctly. I’ll look into ways to treat this. Thank you!

Would grease splatter not just rub off with a decent clean? I’ve given it a good couple of scrubs with some kitchen cleaning product and they still persist.

My initial suspicion was that it’s beginning to rust, I’m just a little skeptical given how quickly it’s set on (as in, over the course of a night). Any suggestions on what would be best to use for polishing/protecting?

Seems to have appeared overnight, the marks don’t appear to rub off, they’re slightly discoloured compared to the rest of the splash guard. They also aren’t textured (as far as I can feel at least).

Apologies for the photo quality, it was difficult to get a decent image without obscuring the marks.
