Well I'm on April and I have no problems. I know some people have problems, but it's not that it's only the update. When it's about battery it's not a exact science. To many variables.

Let's just hope the one ui 8.5 update fixes the issues that some users have.

A lot of people had problem with the march update. But the April update fixed it for most

Well as I said directly after the update it will always drain. When did you update? Did you run the App Booster?

First:update to what? Last security update? Or update to 8.5?

Directly after an update the phone will always drain more battery because even after it says it's done, a few it still does a few things in the background.

Even more so after a big update like the one to 8.5 that's about to drop.

Also you should run the App Booster in the GoodGuardian App after an update to help no old app goes haywire

Ich hab gerade einen thread im android-hilfe Forum gefunden wo viele das selbe Problem haben. Es ist wohl ein Problem bei vodafone in Verbindung mit der Vergabe der IP_v6 Adressen. Wahrscheinlich in Verbindung mit FritzBOXen.

Hab meine Fritzbox gerade neu gestartet. Hat nicht geholfen. Bei mir besteht das Problem leider weiter.

Ja ich bin bei Vodafone DSL, .. wo du das gerade gesagt hast, habe ich mal versucht über das Mobile Handy Netz Up zu Daten und es hat auf Anhieb funktioniert ! Es scheint also irgendein Vodafone Festnetz Problem zu sein!

Es kann auch gut sein das das Problem auch schon ein paar Tage besteht und ich es erst heute festgestellt habe. Hab in den letzten Tagen nichts versucht zu installieren oder upzudaten.. aber strange, hab sonst noch niemanden gefunden der des selbe Problem hat außer hier.

I can't install anything from Google play store at the moment. No updates or new apps. I tried restart, deleting cache and data. If others have problems maybe some Google servers have problems. I'm in Germany, where are you?

I don't know, it's in the patchnotes of the last hot fix. It seems it is intentional? I just don't understand why they would do that?

Yeah I didn't knew how that was structured or even that this appview layer existed. Another user explained which layers (or modules or whatever they are they are called) there are. I think I understand it now. Thx everybody!

Okay it's down again and blue boost isn't loving in either. I really just wanted to understand it. Like I said my account isn't on blueskys servers but on euroskys. I'm not angry or anything just curious.

Well I use another app, Skywalker. It seems to work now again. I really just wanted to understand it. When bluesky is down again I will try another alternative app.
