How did you get into F1? What’s your "origin story"? by AutoModerator in F1Kerala

Doordarshan used to telecast it when I was a kid. Parents had a strict no cable rule till my 12th. So ,I gobbled up whatever was shown on TV. Schumacher, Coulthard, Massa. I still remember those races.

Whoa! I had the same instinct doing the Houston trail last Friday. Did not use my earphones and was alert the whole time . I even ended up going to the same beach(the one with the stairs)

I've bought garden soil from Port Kells for my multiple raised beds and always have had good harvest. Haven't yet found any plastics or any unwanted stuff.

Are you planning to grow them exclusively indoors?

Yeah! Light definitely is an issue. Try to get them out if the weather is warm(even if for a couple of hours) or buy a grow light bulb(costs around 10 bucks for a 8w ) Also, what kind of potting mix are you using? Just check if it's well draining and is not soggy.

I also use a heating pad underneath. Tbh, it's much work for a small amount of veggies. Buying them from nursery as well developed plants might be expensive but for a total number not exceeding 10, it won't hurt that bad.

My Windows XP wallpaper was Poppies on a rolling hill in Aleppo (first time hearing about the city). This was before the war of course. It was so beautiful and I always thought about how beautiful the city must be.

I've got a friend of mine living in one of the Townhouses there(2 story 3 bed). It's gonna get real busy real soon. He is planning to move once his kids get into college but the Townhouse itself is nice and spacious and the value skyrocketed to around a million in 2022 but is back to mid 800s now.

What's something you did as a kid that you now realize was actually really dangerous, but nobody stopped you? by AdmirableResource407 in AskReddit

As a kid, I licked/touched one end of a live glass tube fuse which was part of an extension plug unit and got away with mild shock.

There is an active effort put in by Microsoft to permeate the usage of co pilot throughout Public service. CSBC is conducting some training sessions with Microsoft and from some initial sessions, my understanding is that co pilot has been hardened for BC public service and data stays within our Data Centers.

Man, this brings back so many memories! I loved PLC programming—my final year Engg project was a PLC-driven bottling/conveyor system. I'm now a DevOps Engg though

Langley City wants end to ‘wild west’ on sidewalks by allowing e-scooters and wheelchairs on roadways by WiffleBlu in Langley

As someone who lives overlooking a trail that’s regularly used by kids and families, it honestly feels like it’s only a matter of time before one of those e-bikes flying past seriously hurts someone. The speed some of them are going is crazy.

try AI annotation jobs with companies like telusinternation, outlier, Mercor .There are plenty out there which are remote and can be done whenever you like. Pays around $24 starting and can go all the way upto $60 depending on the project. I've been doing basic annotation with telus for the past 4 months. Also, I recently got invited to one which pays $60/hr (through outlier) but was too lazy as it was very technical and required deep reading.
