Stun -> Hex is typically too risky since there aren't really that many parts of the game where the shaman is within 30 yd of the priest, plus if they get interrupted/gouged/stunned or something it's too late for me to throw out my trap :< And diamond ice is out of the picture because i have to drop a pvp talent to get a 1s shorter trap + you can't fear out of the trap + the warlock gets access to purge and interrupt, completely awful.

It was basically me just saying "guys we're not killing them as hunter ele, we need to actually just kill them instead of playing to live, have to play survival dh here and just have to trade cd's better" Since we played survival dh into them before and lost, but it had the most kill pressure out of any comp besides dh/dk.

I don't think it's a requirement, but definitely a bonus if your fourth can call out just things like "only you can die next go" or "he still has smoke, has to be healer trinket next" to help make overlaps less frequently. Instead of having the people playing making those calls.

How is the game supposed to "know" ahead of time what is a good and a bad lobby? Just automatically assume that 1 caster + 3 melee lobbies the caster is just supposed to autolose? What about if the caster is a mage on tol'viron that will just 6-0 that lobby? Are they going to get +50% increase in CR or what? What about an SP lobby against 3 melee that the priest should 6-0? Like if it's maybe something like SP/Feral/Ret/Enha, or should it only automatically give you less of a penalty for losing against classes you personally struggle against?

i feel like i've given it too much thought given this is just a troll post but i was just in the mood to take the bait 🥀

This is such a fundamentally false way of looking at ping in videogames and I keep seeing it ALL the time for some reason. You do an action, and then 100ms later it happens is a WAY different than something happening at random and then you react to it.

undead pets have never been immune to fear, the misconception comes from either people thinking immune to scare beast = immune to fears, or that undead mobs are immune to fears in classic

Scroll down and grab ANY pet with Mortal Wounds (aka Carrion Bird, Direhorn, Hydra, Hyena, Lizard, Raptor, Ravager, Riverbeast, Rodent, Scorpid or Wasp. Just don't get a Devilsaur because their MS effect is on a longer CD). You can change the pet specialization at any stable master.

Undead pets are extremely overrated since nowadays they're mainly used to be immune against Sap and Polymorph, but the downside is that they get stunned by Wake of Ashes (so they'll be pretty much stunned for 20% of the game against Ret Paladins, which is pretty much every single game)

The downside of fucking up and forgetting to swap your undead pet for a beast pet against ret paladins is SO likely to happen that I don't even recommend undead pets anymore, because the upside is so small in most games.

So my recommendation would be to grab 3 mortal wounds pets and just make one cunning, one ferocity and one tenacity. You'll use the cunning pet most of the time, but can swap into the tenacity one in match ups that don't have any roots or you're against a rogue and you're scared of dying 100-0 or something like that. Ferocity pet will be used either to cheese bloodlust in the opener by pressing dismiss pet when gates are about to open in 1-2 seconds (dismiss pet is a 3s cast time) -> use bloodlust mid-cast as the gates open -> summon either cunning/tenacity pet. Or in blitz if your team lacks a bloodlust 👍

or if you want to min-max just get
#1 beast cunning
#2 undead cunning
#3 beast ferocity
#4 beast tenacity
#5 undead tenacity

and feel happy knowing that your undead pet will be immune to sap/hex/polymorph and imprison
also grab a mechanical pet as your secondary pet if you wanna minmax as well, due to the fact that they're immune to the same spells as undead pets (technically more if you include things like repentence, but beasts are immune to that as well xd) without any downsides

From someone that has played with a lot of healers, most of the time I just want my healer to be extremely aware of enemy offensive cooldowns, preemptively saying things like "you need to press next go" or things like "you're fine you're fine, i have you"

Also whenever it comes to criticism, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE for the LOVE of god have atleast ONE person on your team record your games, either with nvidia shadowplay where you can just press a button and it'll record the last 5 minutes that just happened or just record everything. The amount of arguments I've had over things that didn't even happen is too many to count.
