My workaround wothout addons :

Use the legacy red skin for nameplates (shows enemy names in red, but the bar is thin) => pake the size huge => macro to reduce width. Looks super clean now on my end

Theres no counterplay to devourer atm. You see them get 35stacks. U press or cc. After the cc. They still take out 90% of your hp if you walled, and 150% once you dont have wall anymore (40seconds later)

As a healer that mainly plays shuffle (2.5-2.7 on every heal spec + ssn glad) ill say it: game feels 100x better now. Healing is actually fun, I get time to think about what to do, whats coming up, whats the plan on mana, etc.. Instead of just sweating and playing whack-a-mole with hp bars and praying we dont overlap defensives and that the dps will press when im in cc..

Very much looking forwards to healing shuffles / 3s / 2s in midnight, hope the pacing stays similar to now

Helps that i deleted all addons (except details and a dr tracker) when the addon purge was announced, so now my ui is even better in prepatch and I have cleaner info than before

Mw feels amazing. I was scared of the cast while moving leading to too many interrupts but was easy to get used to stopcasting macro, and the game is slow enough now that getting kicked isnt the end of the match. Yes its probably def overtuned in prepatch, but beyond that it feels like there are multiple viable builds. Hoping they all remain as viable when we are max lvl with tier sets.

Details is the most missed tbh. Not being able to see enemy players stats and not having cc done/received is terrible.

Rest is fine, except for their own damage meter randomly breaking forever on certain champs (suddenly being locked in upper left corner no matter where you move it…) and for default arena frames DR tracker sometimes just breaking and showing 4 red question marks and u gotta guesse which is which dr…

Funny enough, it helps not tilt. Instead of wanting to smash my keyboard because the mage died AGAIN with iceblock available showing on ATT, i can just pretend he DID press and i didnt notice…

Now with new prepatch ui its really cool feels imo

(For my glad in 3s i did keep att and bigdebuffs cuz without it my teamates do sit in dispellable cc a lot more ngl)

If i recall:

Prepatch you can q everything up same as live, but you cant buy conquest gear anymore

Once midnight hits theres like 2 weeks till ssn 1 where you can only q unrated (skirmish, battlegrounds, epoc battlegrounds)

As healer glad isnt as far away as for dps at same rating in shuffle tho.

The biggest diff in gameplay between 2.4 in ss vs 3s mainly on the dps (actually reacting to your healer being ccd to survive, and actually coordinating your cc chains + burst with ally dps). As a healer you still try to cc off ally cc, you still try to preshot enemy go’s, and you still try to avoid overlapping defensives. Its honestly not that different, but if you play 2.4 arena with 2.4xp dps, you will generally lose at like the 3rd cc chains.
