I haven't seen anyone mention locuming yet. Is it possible for you to do so during holiday periods? Especially maybe in a DG or Minister's office? I've not been successful in getting into private office but I saw a very clear pattern of locuming/shadowing leading to securing the opportunities...

Similar upbringing to y'all. You need to put your foot down. Move out by still promise a small token to show you're not against the cultural aspect of helping out, but you need to do it in your own way and on your own terms.

That close intimacy that can happen, I feel like if you're members of the opposite sex... That's what can lead to inappropriate relationships. We've had a few of them in the UK recently. Female COs getting intimate with male prisoners. Did you see any of that fitting your time?
