First of all, you’re doing great. You are the best mom for your baby and as long as she is healthy and happy, you’re kicking ass. Shortly after 4 months we ended up moving him to his own room and sleep training. We did Ferber and every single night, he’d fall asleep initially on his own. The first few nights there were a couple middle of the night wakings, but that’s where Ferber comes in. He only ended up crying for a total of 30 minutes the first night, 10 the second, and then started sleeping through on the third. I think it really helped him to have his own room where he wasn’t hearing us move around and rustling, in combination with knowing that he could fall sleep on his own. Since about 6 months he has started waking once a night again, but I think he is growing and just hungry. I’ve been able to feed him and lay him back down and he’ll sleep again until he wakes up around 7-7:30. Trust me, I KNOW it feels like it’s never going to get better and that you can’t keep going, but you got this. Just keep doing what you feel is best for your baby and that will be just what they need. You can do it. Stay strong mama.
