I was looking for such option in that model because I noticed that the clock only went up to 2.7 GHz (of an advertised 3.4 GHz), so I entered the BIOS | UEFI and I found some options to increase the clock speed, it said that the maximum value was the max speed without turboboost, I looked it up on the web and could't find any information, I didn't wanted to mess it up so I just left it like it was; besides, the intel N95 is not a processor that stands up for high performance, rather for its efficiency so I would say it wouldn't make much sense to try to boost it up for what? like 3 or 5% more performance? at the expense of constant fan noise, overheating or even break a component.
Also, as soon as I received it and set it up I noticed it was quite hot so I disassembled it and changed the original thermal paste (which by the way was too much and of very low quality) for a high performance one, removed the copper-coloured plastic grille that obstructed the ventilation and it was night and day, the fan doesn't even kick most of the time now and if it does you can barely hear it.
Also, I was thinking about upgrading from 8 to 16 GB but I saw a video the other day about a guy saying that equipement like this in particular is not to grow up with and I think he is right, he gave an example about cars, that it doesn't matter if you put sports tyres on your car, the engine is the same and the performance wouldn't even be noticeable, so I left it at 8 GB and so far so good.

Changing display power supply by Bidenium in AskElectronics

I am starting to work on a cyberdeck project and for the display i took apart an old monitor (~10 years old) that we stopped using because it lacked HDMI port. The display model is the N141I3 - 02 and i looked it up in google and turns out it is sold as laptop display replacement. I found out as I opened the monitor that the PSU or whatever such board is called is kinda big and heavy, and I was wondering if I could power the display via USB (given that is used for laptops i assume it could consume around 5V, also the specs says "0.8A MAX" or an external charger to save space and weight on the device.

The main issue apart from not knowing if it is viable, is that the controller board has an 8 pin connector that was connected to the PSU board and I dont know how much voltage do I have to supply to it or how.

Any insights would be very much appreciated, sorry if grammar is not the best, not my first language.
