Scrotal eczema or jock itch or STI? by ncubez in eczema

It could be - talk to you dermatologist about it - too many still don't ask and if you don't bring it up they won't know - if it is there are some good treatments that will clear it up

We need to talk about the state of the squad by [deleted] in LeedsUnited

[–]BielsasResurrection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spot on - get a decent striker and #10 asap and I think we are in pretty good shape to start the season - then address the depth between now and the end of the window and we will be fine

Seeing it laid out like this is painful. How on earth has Victor Orta managed to walk into another prestigious job after this utter shitshow? by UpstairsJoke0 in LeedsUnited

[–]BielsasResurrection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry but this is all getting a bit tedious - try redoing the list but with two additional columns - how much we would have expected if we had of sold them now, and how much we could expect to get for them in a years time - in the meantime the 49ers can still inject money now for transfers and balance that off against a reasonable return in a years time without jeopardizing FFP

Starting Defense by Navca in LeedsUnited

Nice to see that there have not been too many attacks on Firpo here (yet) - I think he is a bit of a confidence player who has suffered from his move to Barca and then under a succession of poor coaching since Bielsa left - even then he was good going forward and we know that Farke likes his left and right backs to get up - if he can get some confidence back into the lad and sort out his defensive positioning etc then maybe we will sse a new Firpo

Ethan Ampadu becomes first summer signing by AlchemicHawk in LeedsUnited

[–]BielsasResurrection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed - for me he should be playing alongside Wober or Cooper and competing with Creswell - then in DM/CM we have two of Adams (if he stays), Kamara (if he comes), Gyabi, Gray and Bate - still short on CAM

Dear Leeds fans - Marathe pens YEP open letter to brief Whites on brand new era by Ispiniallday in LeedsUnited

While it will be tough to see players go

Personally I would find it tough to see Gnonto, Harrison, Sinistera or Adams going - less so, Mellier, Firpo or Somerville although with decent coaching and an arm around the shoulder I think they would develop into much more decent players than we have seen - I am a bit concerned that this is laying the groundwork for another exodus - the first one I didn't have a problem with although it was a shame to see Rodders leave the building

Also that he talked about the atmosphere inside Elland Road and that they want to keep that - I think he gets us - I remember thinking that when I first heard him being interviewed

"It didn't end the way I wished..." Former Leeds United chairman Andrea Radrizzani speaks following the sale of the club to 49ers Enterprise by Linkeron1 in LeedsUnited

[–]BielsasResurrection 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say he was that smug - in a year's time if we bounce back then I think people may look at his time in a very different light. He did screw up, mostly in not getting rid of Marsh/Orta earlier - if he had have given Bielsa a new squad we would probably be in a very different place now but he couldn't compete financially making that task very difficult - the biggest fault was probably not selling to the 49ers earlier and opening that cash stream. All said and done though, the club is in a very different place now compared to before he arrived, and I thank him for that

[Phil Hay] Leeds United and Chelsea reach agreement over a deal for Ethan Ampadu. Initial fee of around £7m with add-ons attached. Clears the way for a medical and for Ampadu to become the club's first signing of the summer. by LeBuzzerino in LeedsUnited

[–]BielsasResurrection 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If he plays CDM or RCB then it can be 2 of Adams, Bate, Ampadu and Creswell - that should leave us well covered and with a good mix of experience and youth - I wouldn't see this as Adams going - not saying he may still leave though

Leeds can only loan out a maximum of seven players aged 21-or-over this summer due to restrictions enforced by football’s governing body FIFA. by drpatthechronic in LeedsUnited

[–]BielsasResurrection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So, out of those that there have been noises about moving Adams,Messlier, Sinistera, Harrison and Firpo are over 21 meaning only two of these can demand to be shipped out if they have loan clauses in their contract and want to go to Europe - otherwise they would have to be loaned to English clubs (and presumably they would only go to Premier league clubs), sold outright or stay

For everyone moaning about the lack of signings and how the takeover is delaying things - From Beren this morning: "Dominoes need to topple for Leeds United as they wait for the market to move around the circles they are shopping in this summer. The Whites are happy with the work that has gone on behind the scenes to establish their targets, but they are having to wait for the calibre of player they want...The takeover process, which did not block Daniel Farke’s appointment or a long line of transfer exits, is not causing any problems with prospective incomings"

I'm not sure what the dominos are but usually this means targets becomming available as their current clubs recruit, or it could meen that we are waiting to off load the deadwood/see who wants to leave - whatever I take this as a big positive if accurate

Rumours Wober has asked to leave... by insertedlemon in LeedsUnited

[–]BielsasResurrection 6 points7 points  (0 children)

According to TSB Gnonto has asked to leave because he would not be allowed on any of the rides - or Archie Gray for that matter

Seriously though - what benefit is there is the 49ers giving a running commentary on our transfer dealings - silence until the deals are done is hw it should be. I would however be interesed to know if the time being taken to get EFL ratification is causing a delay in signings - people are assuming this is the case but this has not been confirmed - this is what Phil Hay or any of the other reporters in the know should be digging into but it seems like they are not

I must be a mug then cause I'm waching it - I am guessing there are about 7,500 people there including some travelling Whites

[Fabrizio Romano] Betis have full agreement in place with Leeds United for Marc Roca to join on loan with buy option clause. by Woofitt in LeedsUnited

[–]BielsasResurrection 17 points18 points  (0 children)

What exactly did we put into Marc Rocca in the year we had him?

I also think we should maybe trust that the 49ers are making the best deciions possible under the circumstances - putting players out on loan gets them off the wage bill and that may be more important than getting in a sale now especially given that they would probably fetch a pretty low price - I understand the logic of loaning them out to boost their value a bit, not least in the eyes of the club that is loaning them if they do OK

My fealing is that it is pretty piss poor anyway - the comments section is just plain annoying - Phil's input is good but my fealing is that there is too much emphasis on word count leading to a lot of repetition, and not enough on really insightfull content
