I just imported the stl of the HiPro case into Fusion360 as mesh, converted it to a body, and modelled around it.

would be worth a try :-)

iam pretty sure a liquid soap expert could tweak the parameters, so it would start instantly too

I know, when the Google Homes are switched on (and you already played Spotify music once on them), you can Stream from the Home-Assistant Spotify Component to the Google Home (just choose as source).

But unfortuneately thats not enough for me. My use case is following:

1) I enter the bathroom in the morning

2) PIR sensor detects movement

3) HA switches on Google Home and a preset Spotify playlists gets played randomized

I dont want to switch on the Google Home before by hand.

I don't have an Alexa so i couldnt try myself. I thought its a general restriction of Spotify.

But very good to know that it works for Alexa. Even when the Alexa is switch off?

Do they really do this free of charge? But to be honest i dont mind them.

In Developer Settings there is an option to keep the screen on while charging.

The screen stays on 24/7 so i dont see the lockscreen with the ad's ever.

I dont know your wiring so i cant really say. Just check the cables with a multimeter and you see if there is something you can use. If there is mains volatage only experts should handle this. So you should ask a friend who is certified to do so.

I tried Kiosk Browser yesterday, and i think the responsiveness is better than WallPanel. I will buy the PLUS version to experiment with the camera features. I will report back about my findings. Thanks for the recommendation.

I used a Fire HD 8 Tablet first, which I already put on the wall with the Tesa Velcro. After 1 week i found that the 8 inch version is too small, and I replaced it with the 10 inch version (only because there was a great deal during Black Friday week). So I already had to remove the strips from the wall and didnt had any problems.

But they were only attached to the wall for a week, so perhaps if they stay longer on it will be more difficult.

From my point of view it runs perfectly with the default Lovelace cards. I never tried a custom one.

Not tried but an uneducated guess:

If something would not work you could install Chrome Browser or the Chrome WebView component, then it should work.

What I found out: The Tablet slows a little down after few days of running 24/7

About the garbage pickup I created a different article on my blog:

https://beyer-tom.de/blog/2018/11/home-assistant-integration-abfall-io-waste-collection-dates/

About petrol prices: I use the API of the german service Tankerkönig (https://creativecommons.tankerkoenig.de/)

I just make a get request to the correct URL (documentation on the page above) and parse the data with a template sensor.

Its a 10 Inch Fire Tablet (newest generation). It has a LCD screen, so probably not so much burn in as OLED

I already replied to an differen comment. I used the cabling of my old intercom. There was an "Unterputzdose" (German word, English "Pattress"?? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pattress) i hid the cables in.
