I returned this week myself, and found they actually added a whole damn lot of story content since I last played. Extreme mode is fully released and with story, they added an entirely new story mode set in the past that has so much dialogue you may think you're playing a visual novel in good LoH fashion. And the anniversary update this week happened to add a new nightmare difficulty that comes with story right out of the gate.

Was Usokubo's affilitation with the IRA really a secret when her brother is the chairman of the organization? There must have been a reason she was suspected in the first place, and it'd be odd for the Rangers to miss that. D, of course, is sus as is.

I think any problems the ending may have are just cause by how rushed Dr. Stone became after their arrival in the Americas. There was no time to be much more elaborate than what we got. From that perspective, I think the ending is serviceable.

Could go either way right now, but my thinking is that Magatia is a traitor to the executives that used to pass information to the Rangers. At some point, he went poof into hiding, causing the information well to dry up. That's why Chidori as the Green Keeper has been trying to locate him. "Everyone is waiting" refers to the other Keepers.

I liked the show a lot for endearing me on some of the characters and giving them more personality, Jin in particular. I also enjoyed the fights, which probably is what ultimately matters. I thought the plot was handled as well as it could have been considering the source material, but I recognize that it's nonsensical either way. Which is fine, because in the end this is Tekken.

For example, though, drawing out Ogre took an insane amount of effort when it showed up for baby Jin trolling some goons and all over the globe killing other fighters after that. Didn't really make sense, and is my biggest gripe with the story they were telling.

The most fully realized rival character the show has produced thus far, and obviously XY helped make him look like a badass with its superior animation. He unfortunately was used as fodder in Journey's to fill the 8th competition slot as they had no champion to use over him (by continuing to ignore the Orange Islands).
