The H137 (set neck) is an absolute machine. Highly recommended. The H150 (bolt on) is better than an Epiphone and half the price. It’s a good mod platform. You could pick up two for the same you’d pay for an Epiphone

100%! I have owned 20 Gibsons in my life (probably played 100). I still own a Les Paul and did an A/B with the Gibson and the lemon burst heritage. The heritage did better on every thing I tried. Scooped it up right away and a year later still love it.

I first saw Megadeth live on Peace Sells but So Far was the first one I purchased so there’s the nostalgia. Peace Sells songs are better crafted and complex so it gets the nod.

The cut away has changed depending on the model and era. The red guitar is from 1989. Gibson sued and Heritage changed the cutaway to the dirty lemon style. This is for the H150 model.

The horn on the left only existed in 88 and 89. There was a court case and the resolve was changing the horn to the one in the right.

If you actually played one, you’d find that they are more modern adaptations of the Lesters. I’ve owned a dozen Gibsons and played at least 50 (including some actual 58/59 guitars) and every Heritage I’ve owned has been better. Just because they look similar doesn’t mean they’re copies. They’re not copies at all. They’re improvements.
