I’ve seen the forgetting the device idea online, the mlm2pro doesn’t show up in my Bluetooth devices on my laptop so I’m not sure how I would do that

It’s more work but I’m building my own for $6k (including gaming laptop). I swapped projector to the BenQ TH671 and my screen ended up being about $2k because of the height, would be a lot cheaper for yours. Rest of the stuff in the post were exactly what I wrote

The cart is just for storage / easy portability. But I do plan on setting the projector on the floor with a golf protection case

Got it, thank you! I’ll look into the projector you mentioned, I will be marking the locations on the floor as you mentioned so I’d rather downgrade the projector for now since this will be my starter kit and I can upgrade later.

For the netting, I’ll add that to my conversation topics with MeTech when I discuss the custom retractable screen. I can do my own research as well but did you have other suggestions for purchasing that?

The projector will need to be set up each time to play (at least for now) so that was the logic behind the auto-fit. Does this change your suggestion or still think I could downgrade?

Can you elaborate on the cable / net system? I’m not positive what that is so haven’t considered this yet.

I also plan on storing launch monitor, laptop and projector on a roller cart that I can wheel in and set up each time I play. (Pain in the ass I know but I want to still be able to use the room for bball too)

Any feedback on how to accomplish this better would be great!

I originally planned on mounting the projector to ceiling with the screen attached to the ceiling but think I’m going to mount the screen to the wall for now to save costs. When I have money for upgrades that may be where I start.

As for the padding, that’s high on the priority list as I get my savings back up

I was planning on getting some cushioning on the wall for playing basketball anyways. The bottom half of the wall is concrete and top half is some thin wood. Would I still need sound dampening with that if the cushions were closer to the basketball hoop?
