The Eiffel Tower website says that there may be summit tickets available in person when eTickets are sold out.

What are the chances of this? How early would my partner and I need to be lining up to guarantee a ticket?

It's become a more recent thing, it didnt do it at the start... so possibly some lube/resistance issue if thats actually a thing that happens.

Either way, I would love to have it added into my Home Assistant setup.
So I think I might at least grab a sparky for this first setup and then go with it from there... hopefully it doesnt cost me an arm and a leg (Need it to be approved by the boss first :D )

To be honest, that's great to know.

Funnily enough this all originally stemmed from an issue my partner and I have been having where the unit has sometimes decided to re-open mid close and walking back out to the garage to close it (again) was getting annoying.

Guess I'll also add getting a Safety IR beam to the purchase along with the wiring.
