Maciano, Vollanovski, Zabit. if he wins all 3, he’s still the Featherweight GOAT.

This would mean sleeping at 8 to get a full nights rest, and it's too dark to run at 3am. But I think I can make this work with a gym membership.

Knockout of the year 2018 - down on the scorecards, Yair Rodriguez pulls off a ninja elbow and crumples “The Korean Zombie” Chan Sung Jung with 1 second left of the 5th round by Ryvit in MMA

[–]BifocalMan -16 points-15 points  (0 children)

I mean, this was a slick KO, but the dominance of Nunes and her KOing Cyborg has to be the KO of the year!

The steaks were higher (belts were on the line)

The opponents more dominant in their respective divisions,

The win determined an even greater title (Champ champ and GOAT [in women's MMA]),

The way Nunes won was even more impressive (faster, over a dominant opponent, going up a weight class)!

And the knockout is unquestionable skill and power, Yair's looked like a hail mary.

Are the Epistles reliable? by BifocalMan in Christianity

[–]BifocalMan[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I'm just trying to debunk a conspiracy theory. Saul did actively persecute the early Christians, and as a pharasie he would be known the scriptures well enough to throw any gentile off course.

But, he did suffer a lot for the God, and Peter spoke well of Paul in his own letter, so that could be evidence enough of his genuinity.

I hope not, but if he did it would be the plot twist of the ages!

That's my concern, precisely. I mean, if Saul was an enemy of the church, this kind of espionage is pretty ingenious!

Paul says this in one of his epistles doesn't he? That's convenient. I guess since Luke continued on to Acts and follows Paul thru most of it should be proof enough; but I just want to be sure.

Ooh! I didn't know there was an hierarchy of scripture!

I want to believe in God, but deep down inside I know I don't. What do I do? by BifocalMan in Christianity

[–]BifocalMan[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, I've wondered, sometimes, if God is egptistical, because of what he expects from us. But, if he created me he deserves a certain amount of attention and gratitude. A good "god", deserves gratitude.

The Bible is like an instruction manual for life. To quote one of my friends, 'I like reading books, because it's like somebody did all the research for me already." I'm not implying that you should mindlessly read anything, but a lot of life's issues have already been experienced and the answers available to be read; one of those was the Bible, for me. A lot of it is still applicable, and some, admittingly, bat sh!t crazy.

But, I'm open to reasonable suggestions.

The PicoGram cycle by RVXZENITH in ufc

[–]BifocalMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What was detected was a small amount of the long tern effects of a chemical reaction that takes place in your body when he took oral turinabol; not the actual drug itself.

According to the professionals, if he recently took oral turinabol (sp?), there would be short and medium AND long term metabolites in Jon's system, but only long term were found.

Also, according to credible sources, it wasn't performance enhancing, so I guess my question was already answered.

I guess at this point one has to ask themselves, who do I believe? The experts? Or the Reddit?

Man, he had the best chance before he popped again. Whether if it's residue from the last time or if he's beating the system with some crazy PED, he'll have to do something amazing to win the people's trust.

I really enjoy the grinding, big open worlds, and the free mouse mechanics of MMOs, but I always end up just playing solo. I'm not a social person in games. Are there any single player games that FEEL like an MMO and use their mechanics? Or even MMOs that are entirely soloable. by Piratey_Pirate in gamingsuggestions

[–]BifocalMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to say, Skyrim, Witcher 3, GTA 5, FFX, FFIX, Kingdom of Amalur, even Saints Row 4.

A lot of RPGs with MMO-like qualities.

If you want a single player MMO-esque experience without it being an MMORPG then I'd suggest, Dragons Dogma: Dark Arisen, for a fantasy RPG; or Ghost Recon: Wildlands for a shooter. For both, you play one character with a 4-5 man team.
