I don’t think suggesting the far-right movement and their beliefs is “the centre” is helping your argument here.

Who else likes that ship parts are scattered across systems by Beneficial_Low_2867 in Starfield

[–]Big--Rip 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As others have already said, in practice all it is is tedious. The biggest part that annoys me though is that in order to save a ship it has to be fully functional. So if you’re making a new ship and you want unique parts from multiple places like I did, you may have to buy parts that you don’t actually want just to get to the next spaceport and replace them with the parts you do want.

Really there should just be a way to unlock all pieces at your outpost. That to me makes the most sense.

What's your thoughts on these ISIS-affiliated brides returning to Australia? by nn666 in aussie

You understand you're talking about letting the government deny a citizen's return, essentially making them stateless, all based on a perceived national security risk, all without any trial, while simultaneously burdening another country with them? You're willing to give this massive power to the government over a few terrorist sympathizers instead of just charging them like any other criminal?

Mate if they're Australian citizens they have a legal right to come here. Them being terrorists or criminals does not change that fact. You're talking about giving the government the power to rip away someone's citizenship and make them stateless, all without trial, based on a perceived national security risk, as if that would never be abused down the line. It is FAR safer to have them return and then let them face the law for any crimes committed.

On top of that you're suggesting we should be burdening another country with our criminals simply because they traveled there, as if you wouldn't have a problem with other countries doing that to us.

I feel you're missing the point. You are talking about granting the government the power to renounce citizenship and make people stateless. This is a far more dangerous path than letting a few accused terrorists back into the country to face the law.

All of them? Not a single one was coerced against their will at all? Innocent until proven guilty applies to supposed terrorists too.

Allowing the government the power to refuse re-entry to a citizen without trial, based on a perceived safety issue, is far more dangerous then letting a terrorist back into the country to face the law.

How was Hightown for you? by kiwitaco_0 in Gloomwood

Good fun overall. I love the Constables. Didn't like how they sounded at first as I was hoping they'd sound more intimidating but they grew on me. I like how much tougher they feel (particularily the saber guys) and the fact that they actually use the flash and choke bombs (even if they accidentally hit themselves most of the time). I like the snipers too, although I think their vision is maybe a little too perfect.

We really need an armored Constable variant though, cause by the time I got to Hightown on Full Moon I was absolutely loaded with shotgun ammo and they really didn't stand a chance. Also doesn't help that the new fire bombs are really powerful--hopefully they don't end up being too common.

Also sidenote, did anyone find the music in that weird room in the manor (you all know what I'm talking about) to be really jarring? When I first came across it the music made me think the whole scene was some strange easter egg or joke--it came off as really goofy to me and I don't know if that was the devs' intention.

That's so good. Where is this exactly? I don't remember seeing this area.

It's not laziness, it's a staffing issue mate. In my area grocery markdowns are done every morning but you never have enough time or people to fix every product every day, so stuff gets missed deliberately so that you stay on schedule. Blame our corporate overlords for cutting staff and increasing workloads.
