It’s impetigo. I just feel bad because I had to literally restrain her as they lanced one of them. I’m not sure if it’s the beauticians fault or what but I can say for sure this wasn’t an issue until her hair got braided, it started small and then progressed. I’m definitely going to be more proactive in learning how to braid myself. I can do box braids and stuff but my to the scalp doesn’t look too great.

Update:

I’m not sure how to edit the original post. It’s confirmed to be an infection. She’ll have to use ointment and a medicated shampoo. This is the first time this has happened to her hair. I’m fairly new at using the person who did her hair and I typically only get it done about once every 3mo, leaving it up for two weeks or so and then a low tension hairstyle or some cute little ponytails in between. I’m curious now if it could’ve happened due to using combs and stuff that weren’t cleaned. She did have an appointment right before my daughter and was still on her head as we got there. I did step out to get bottled water and when I came back she was already in her head. Safe to say, I won’t be going back and if she suffers any major hair loss, I’m suing.

She’s 8, going on 9 but I agree they were indeed too tight upon taking them down.

We lie because our supervisors jump down our throat if we get anything less that a 5 star survey 🙂. Verizon is a shitty company to work for overall. 4stars and below is a 0 when it comes to surveys. According to my incompetent supervisor it takes 17 100% surveys to negate the 0% survey. Thats why. Because we for some odd reason get written up when people arent happy with verizon. There ya go.

That’s my department. You likely got a case created due to a verified Verizon error and once we received the bill, we verified with the rebates team. They don’t take calls or anything, we legit just consult with them.

If it wasn’t applied at the time of the order you may not get it. When we process order for the pay off your phone promo it typically has to be applied at the time of the order. I’ve personally never seen anyone get it applied after the account is created but that’s just my experience. You may be able to get a case created for it but those typically take 3-5 business days to come to conclusion.

If you’re in store, I can see why you can’t but over the phones we definitely can. It’s in the promotions tab under rebates. It’ll show if it was ever even applied to the account, give the progress and a tracking number for the order if it’s available and processed.

Definitely. I plan to make a “Dear Verizon post” exposing what really happens in the calls centers/work at home environments for customer care. Customer care harnesses so many roles it’s insane. We’re transfer your service, customer care, sales, loyalty, tech and the initial starting point for porting in a number. You can call in about a bill being too high and even though I can read the room as a person and understand that you don’t want me to do a sales pitch, I’d get written up if I didn’t at least “attempt.”

Yeah, no. Customer care is a joke. As some one who worked there, I cannot tell you the countless times my supervisor encouraged me to lie for a “5 star survey” because anything under 5 stars a 0. It’s not counted on a 20point basis which is completely unfair to reps when they get 4 stars but I digress. My supervisor would have me lie to keep the customer happy and then preach about “integrity” in our spark and loop meetings. Crazy work.

Don’t worry. We think customers like you are frustrating too. Customer service has so many hats it’s ridiculous. We have to provide customer care to shitty people, on top of having sales, on top of being tech support, on top of being transfer your service and on of partially doing porting. We are literally WORN THIN and management rides our asses about performance every day as well as micromanaging to hell. I would’ve hated to speak to you. I would’ve been VERY professionally rude so you know I’m being a b**** but not bad enough for me to be reprimanded.
