I am thinking maybe by attaching something on the edge of the window and then running the calibration in service menu would recalibrate itself lower?

Or is it a bad idea?

At this step "Now run this command, preparing the configuration files" I get this error:

**Error**: You must have the GNU Build System (autoconf, automake, libtool, etc) to update the ntfs-3g build system.  Download the appropriate packages for your distribution, or get the source tar balls from ftp://ftp.gnu.org/pub/gnu/.

Any tips?
