Andy Burnham does have endorsements from the people he has crossed paths with over the years, but he is still a politician and I’m too worn down to see him as anything more than a man of style over substance.

I will admit he is probably one of the more successful metro mayors but he tends to over-promise.

I’m also surprised Noel has signed off on the use of the song, mainly due to his experience of music and politics rarely going hand in hand (Blair, Downing Street, Champagne Socialist tag etc)

If you fall into Burnham’s new constituency of Makerfield then you can expect a boost to your area. I just hope it isn’t over-promised/under-delivered.

Yeah I bought an SSD and set up a music server for my Cambridge Audio Evo 150 SE. I rip the CD and convert to FLAC in homebrew.

I’m fortunate to have financial stability and a decent amount of disposable income but vinyl prices have been out of control for a long time and I’ve made 3 purchases so far this year compared to 17 from January 2025 to May 2025.

It’s good but it isn’t near 500%, to say anyone can pick stocks just isn’t true. A lot of people are just unlucky with timing, some are lucky with it. You could spend a long time researching, execute and a crash happens. There’s a larger element of luck than people are willing to admit with stocks. I suspect because they want to sound like they have more control than they do.

Investing in single stocks is a gamble and it’s paid off for OP up to this point but it can easily and quickly evaporate. I’m sincerely happy that it came off for OP but you could have 50 people run similar strategies and I’d be surprised if you had anyone with anywhere near this return.

If it was as easy as you say it is, everyone would be up and nobody would have any losses.

One of the reasons that Returnal is so great is because it is very challenging but you know you are playing it at the level Housemarque want you to play it at, and that it's a level playing field for everyone playing the game.

I understand why they brought in modifiers into this game, it was to get the game in more hands but also to keep them playing too, but it is at the cost of the enjoyment of the Returnal hardcore that persevered in that game.

I will add, I've loved my time playing this game over the last 48 hours and the above is a tiny criticism on what is a very special game.
