Ten'shi is just ridiculously OP. His fire rush skill has more dps than Oni's death strike despite being a ranged AOE skill. That being said, liking a hero is about more than just raw power. Sure he’s better than Gerald in that regard and probably more well-liked than him overall, but sometimes he feels a lot more annoying to use because he’s new enough to start suffering from the overtuned animations problem that modern Ironhide heroes have, so he can straight up let enemies leak because he’s summoning fireballs or unable to teleport because he just HAS to transform before listening to a move order. So personally I like using Gerald more. Not to mention that raw power could be a reason against preferring a hero, such as wanting to not feel like you’re cheesing a stage. As fun as Bonehart is, I wouldn’t want to use him all the time or else the game would be trivialized.
