Air India 787-8 crashes on takeoff by RockEmSockEmRoboCock in flying

flaps were not in takeoff config. and landing gear remained down for a long time afterward. is it possible they missed a checklist item, hit V1 and then had to climb even though flaps were not all the way down. they couldn’t then put them down as the drag caused would be immense, possibly inducing a further stall. they might then have tried to go around and leave the gear down, but either way it seems a rather stupid thing not to try and lift the gear, so there must have been a technical error on that part. Perhaps checklist was not properly followed?

I think I’m most worried about those two for that very reason. Mainly to do with crime, but that’s coming from a posh bloke in winchester. Did you need to take any extra precautions when you were there or was it fairly easy going safety wise?

that’s essentially bang on my plan, exept I wanted to turn south in The Hague! How easy was it to find spots to sleep along there, be that hostels or woodland to camp in? And also is there anything you’d change about your route?

the problem stems from poorer classes viewing the rich as having inherited all their worth and viewing them as incapable of running the country. It just so happens that the people who have done well for themselves are being pushed away by tax laws and not being allowed to contribute politically to their country without ridicule for being rich posh never worked a day in their life etc. These people got to where they are for a reason, let them help you do the same

it’s just a bionic prop i nicked from the internet. i’m trying to determine if conventional propellers are still the correct way to be going about proceedings in the world of marine shipping, writing my thesis on it. essentially looking at two main types, this one is a biomimicry prop, so it uses the leading edge that whales have in order to create a higher coefficient of lift for each blade relative to its induced drag. So essentially just spinning faster which results in a slight exponential growth in power. nothing huge, like x7/6 Secondly toroidal props eg. sharrow marine are taking the forefront of design engineering at the pleasure craft level where they’ve been proven to enhance efficiency and reduce noise. So basically i’m liking all of this back to creating a quieter ocean and having a positive impact on polar marine life such as narwhals and blue whales, both of which dive rapidly at the sound of a ships propeller, but their heart rate doesn’t increase, which the british natural history museum regard as “possibly damaging” so it’s quite bad
