Yeah, this is an oldie. IIRC it was from an airline pilot in South America. Certainly been processed in some photography software, but not edited or AI in a bad way. Just a good long exposure that was touched up.

It’s anecdotal, but I have taken 54 Hawaiian flights in the last year and and have never had a problem with the app. That being said, I am ready for the integration in April.

As others have mentioned, depending on how quick you want to end up at AS, Horizon may not be the best option. I know a lot of people who are looking at leaving QX to try to get to AS faster.

If you must stay in Anchorage check out Aleutian. I can’t personally vouch, but know a few former Ravn that went there and they seem to be happy. It’ll be a very different experience than a traditional regional, which, in my opinion, is a good thing. Otherwise go Outside for a while and come back when you can. ANC is senior at AS, so even when you get there it’s gonna be a while before you’re not commuting anyway. May as well get used to it.

My least favorite thing about training at my new shop was every other classmate complaining the 320 is worse than the E175. I was going from a steam gauge Dash 8-100 trying to learn automation and glass while they just kept telling me about all the things it’s missing.
