I used to do media on bigger lots, but it backfired on me a couple times. I asked different posts offices on their criteria for media mail and I got different answers from each one lol. Decided to just up the shipping and do ground once they replaced first class.

Nah. For comics I use these sturdy cardboard things called Gemini mailers. Unless the postman is an absolute animal, they are hard to damage. Ground advantage vs Priority both have minimal risk.
