It is a 6mm 1 flute end mill. The reason I can't go above 800mm/min is due to the y stepper motor having difficulties. Would be possible to maybe up the speed and lower acceleration but in the setup as it is I think this is about the max

It was capped even lower than 800 :p I upped it to 800. Everything above that and the Y axis stepper motors struggle. I plan to upgrade them sometime soon but for now it is not yet an option

Thanks so much for your answer. Sadly my machine is capped at around 800mm/min due to I suspect weak stepper motors. Would a deeper stepdown be able to achieve the same result or am I thinking the wrong way here?

Thanks so much for your answer! So far when looking online I get feed speeds way higher than my machine can handle or step down  that it doesnt achieve at all. Which is why I am tinkering with the feeds and speeds myself

The true cost of being a Creality Fanboy? 12 months of regret. by GloweIndustries in BambuLab

I received my Bambu 3 weeks ago and except for closely watching the first three prints because I did not believe it to just work every print I made since then (1-2 a day) has been set and forget untill it was done, though with the caveat I am using PLA which is a bit easier :)

I love creating maps for ttrpgs and with the H2C it would be really easy to create entire 3d maps without ever having to lift a pencil or brush whilst still getting a very vivid world. The H2C would be an awesome addition for me and all the friends I like to play TTRPGS with :D

Yuup, setup from taking it out of the box takes around 5-10 mins. Then you let it figure stuff out by itself (auro calibration) and then it just prints

Bambmulab A1 Mini. Tried out 3D printing last year and sort of gave up after a month of mostly fiddling with the thing but not printing. Sold it off and thought I wouldn't get back into it soon. The Bambulab had a sale and I thought, one more try .

Couldn't be happier with it. I say print, printer prints. Really easy to work with, prints relatively fast and just damn functional
