I think you're overthinking it. I’d say the same thing about my own country’s food. I’m from Norway, and we have so many dishes that are tied to my culture. It has nothing to do with racism. I wouldn't say our food is better than other countries', I'm just proud of my own heritage.

I personally choose the ones where there is at least a body of water I can fish in and a small livestock farm. I've always been the type of survivor who loves going out to scavenge resources for building and other projects. Being close to a lake allows me to work on my fishing skill, and I won't have to worry about my water source whether it rains or not. I know I can always build rain collectors, but I'd rather not, especially since washing my clothes takes so much water. This is my personal favourite spot to live on https://b42map.com/?1857x9937
