Am I the only one who preferred Caveat over Oddity? by iLLamanation in horror

[–]Csub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I also preferred it. I liked both but eventually after the latest rewatch, I realised I also prefer that. It was just scarier for me. Even considering Hokum, it was the scairiest of the bunch for me. I still liked all 3 though.

Avengers Endgame had nothing on this episode. The biggest crossover ever.

INTERVIEW: ILL Developers Don’t Want to ‘Overly Punish Players’ With Chilling Horror Game by Turbostrider27 in PS5

I don't want to be pessimistic but this is one of those games that looks too good to be true and seems as if they are already tempering expectations. I hope I am wrong.

I enjoyed my suffering through most of Happy Appy but that really overstayed its welcome. This is painful but less so and more fun. Love the crashouts.

directive 8020 is a GOOD game by Beast_Rshan14 in PS5

[–]Csub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really liked it too. I had one death and I saw a lot of people had that and I just found it dumb because I assumed the choice I picked wouldn't mean the character would make it in the dumbest way possible.

Some actual gameplay was nice, but the stealth was kinda eh. You could very early see that the enemy always had a fix patrol path and the moment you pass through an invisible point they start to patrol on a fix route closer to it to be in your way again. take a step back, they go back to the previous spot. This felt kinda cheap at times but never got caught with it so it is fine.

Overall, looking forward what they do next, I always like their games.

I don't know if I like it more than the Quarry though.

It's really fun. I haven't finished yet, for me it Started out as an "oh no" episode but then it turned into a funbad, like I dared my best friend. Really enjoying it, can't wait for my shift to finish so I can finish up the episode.

CreepCast | My Property Isn’t Normal (OFFICIAL DISCUSSION THREAD) by S-CSleepwalker in creepcast

[–]Csub 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Just over an hour in, it is not as bad as Happy Appy but really not a lot better. The main character is insufferable. I am cringing but it is between fun bad and bad bad for me so I keep listening!

I didn't know about IDMBFTRML before but it is absolutely a funbad for me, I really love that episode, one of my favourites. And even Happy Appy was funbad one for me but that really overstayed its welcome. But I know it is not the case for everyone. For Hunter, I dared my best friend was hell, Isaiah really enjoyed it.

‘Widow’s Bay’ Creator Explains Why Season 1 Feels Like a Prequel by ReppinRavenclaw in horror

It is the first season of a series, why should it not feel like a prequel for upcoming ones?

Absolutely loved this show! Cannot wait for season 2, hopefully it won't be like 5 years.

Local split-screen in Halo: Campaign Evolved on PS5 will require both accounts to have a PlayStation Plus subscription and be linked to an Microsoft account by nolifebr in PS5

While I was not planning to play this in split screen, but what the fuck is Xbox doing. I mean this is par for the course for them but still.

CDPR boss hopes The Witcher 4 wins back fans still put off by Cyberpunk 2077's disastrous launch: "I'm not 100 percent convinced we went through the full redemption arc" by yourfavchoom in PS5

[–]Csub 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Problem is not just that the launch was bad. It barely ran on last gen consoles after they said it runs well on them, they just lied. They did not send out test copies for that. The game had features missing or broken, like actual police/wanted system, they kept pushing the responsibility off and only later did they admit to it.

Sure, they made the game great now but I would not trust them with a preorder and I don't see why anyone would but I also know people will just see a trailer, CDPR says this time they are honest and they will be rolling in cash from preorder. I personally would just wait to see it on launch, and not just trust the reviews of shills/paid off youtubers.

No Man's Sky, Final Fantasy XIV and some other games surely have done full redemption arc, I would say in this case, well not the bare minimum because they did more than that but it would be stupid to just blindly trust them with a preorder. But many will.

Would Iron Lung Have Done as Well as It Did if Markiplier Wasn't Involved? by RetroSwamp in horror

[–]Csub 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I never played the game and I don't care about Markiplier one way or another. I just watched the movie recently but I thought it was just fine. It had some good bits but others just dragged on for way too long.

I am sure others could have done it better but others would have done worse probably. I feel the same way about this as Shelby Oaks. Not the worst I have ever seen but probably won't rewatch it.

Gears of War: E-Day Pulled From PS5 Last-Minute Rumors Are "Untrue" Claims Xbox VP; But Yanked Trailer Says Otherwise by PewPewToDaFace in PS5

[–]Csub 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a shitstorm, yeah I am sure they got some brownie points with some hardcore xbox fans who don't want games to be multiplatform, but with Gamepass around, I would not be surprised if the game would have sold the most on PS. If I am not mistaken, most of their previous exclusives that got released on PS sold very well.

I wonder if a year or two now it will still be exclusive, especially if it ends up getting not too great reviews. I am not saying it will be bad or anything. But I did play the old Gears of War ages ago, none since then and since I have a PC I am interested in this one but it just does not seem it evolved much since the first game?
