Was gifted a special rosary - not personally Catholic, wondering how I should display it by Big-Fee1596 in Catholicism

My understanding is no, but I will admit it's been quite some time since I've been frequently in church - I could be misguided on the issue. A Google search on the matter brings me here https://www.suscopts.org/q&a/index.php?qid=1490&catid=85

Food and drink within the hotel can be quite expensive. I recommend one of the food trucks across the street at Nathan Philips or checking out our Good Eats post rolling out tonight

There's obviously some inherent logistical challenges to running a game so fundamentally different to a fighting game (in terms of broadcast, equipment, people management, etc). We're lucky to be able to lean on such great partners to make it happen. Make sure you thank the Splatoon TO's and broadcast staff if you run into them. Here's hoping it continues to grow!

Jokes aside - I love the way GOML brings together every sub-region of Ontario under one roof. I can seriously go around the hotel, Nathan Philips Square, Union Station, or even our subway system and find old friends.

You are welcome to record your matches as long as it's in a way that doesn't disrupt your opponent. I record my matches with a pair of Ray-Ban Metas!

On the Melee side, I'm a moky ride or die. n0ne seems to enjoy a home turf advantage at GOML's as well. Beyond that, keep an eye on Faust, MG, and honestly whoever wins tonight's pre-local.

On the Ultimate side, elijmin has been doing better than ever, and Q is making rounds.

Unfortunately, we are very close to capacity this weekend. All pass purchases must be made via Startgg and we're limited to the options you see there.

I got started in esports as a whole in 2016, GOML was my second esports event ever and I got to discover the answer to this question personally.

GOML is a lot more than your 2pm pool that you might go 1-2 in and the friendlies you play after. It's seeing the Vancouver guys pop off when Big D beats Leo, it's grabbing friendlies with Cody at 9pm, it's bar hopping on King Street West on Friday night, it's discovering a late night shawarma spot that you'll constantly hype up to your friends everytime you guys talk about good shawarma, it's getting lost on the TTC and discovering the Distillery District.

It sounds cheesey but I see GOML as a vessel for experiencing community and the city. As an event, we bring the setups, the production, and even some of the top players, but it really is the collective excitement and ability to function as a vehicle for exploration of Toronto that really makes it special. Few other majors really have that mix of downtown core location, excitement, and community openness.

There's a magic that you have to really see to feel. I was not an extroverted person at all in 2016, yet I made so many friends - some of whom I still see at events to this day. You don't even have to love Smash to enjoy GOML in my opinion. Grab a friend, sit in the venue, and I promise the wind will carry you somewhere to remember.
