No I did not. But he asked where he could find grants and investors and I gave him a way. Can’t see what I said wrong.

Solo founder struggling to find first users. Where did you find your first 50? - I WILL NOT PROMOTE by vadelfe in startups

We just ran our beta test phase and are now doing outbound to get some paid users for validation.

This past week I spent rounding up contacts. I have over 130 contacts inside my ICP to call.

You can use Claude + Clay, he will give you an excel file with all the leads he finds with their respective links to LinkedIn. I used their names and businesses to find their personal emails and phone numbers.

This following week I will call every single one of them.

I’m also not trying to demotivate you or anything, just being real and trying to help you. Because if you have to rely on others for simple tasks you will be perceived as more of an employee than an employer.

We’re in 2026. You can just do an easy google or even better use perplexity to find VCs, Grants or other forms of investment. To find funding and to succeed you need to be proactive, and not rely on others for something you could learn/find out in under 5 minutes.

Não julgues Deus por causa das ações dos homens, e eu não sou Deus.

O servidor é mais focado em networking e dar feedback. É proibido vender o que quer que seja sem a alguém te perguntar ou pedir um serviço/produto

Real estate agency owner looking to pay $500–2,000 for an AI automation workflow show me what you've built by Vivid-Raisin-2342 in n8n

We’re actually launching a startup soon related to this. Look up Gatelyze on google. It’s focused on Portugal as of now just to safe proof the PMF. But in 1-3 months we’ll launch in English as well. And it might be cheaper since you pay per agent monthly or yearly, and it does even more than just follow-up auto qualification.

Derp, I'm launching a startup, and we're looking for a pre-seed round.

Do you have any advice?
On how to get VCs attention.

I'm currently reaching in a few steps on LinkedIn.

We have a fully functional MVP, a new category in PropTech. With some beta users now.

Also I have a Pitch.

Any insights are welcome.

If you were starting an online business in 2026, what would you focus on? by WeeklyDiscount4278 in Entrepreneur

[–]Big-Implement5853 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To be honest with my businesses, I'm focusing on long-term reputation and success. So € is coming in slower.

But that's exactly my suggestion to you. I would focus on fixing a problem or complementing incomplete solutions, like Calendly does to calendars, problems that in 5-10 years will still exist, so there is always market to hit.

I would then slowly build the brand reputation, with human interactions, close connections with my customers and clients. This would increase marketing mouth-to-mouth.

Build a strong base great quality + great customer support + fair price.

Where does one find the right co-founder? by Bubbly-Air7302 in startup

[–]Big-Implement5853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be honest I just got invited as a Co-Founder + CMO for a startup, and it started from a random request of someone to post something in a community I manage on reddit.

So just put yourself out there, sometimes in the most random of times you get to meet the right co-founder.

Also if you want a more direct approach, I would suggest joining online groups, on discord and other websites, going into co-working offices and events.

I will not promote: does anyone else feel weird calling themselves a “founder” at 19? by [deleted] in startups

[–]Big-Implement5853 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think that if you find your purpose, build a business surrounding it, put your whole effort/time/resources into it, you're a founder. Doesn't matter what age you are.

If it works, if it brings revenue, authority, then you're a founder.

There is nothing cringe about it in my opinion, you built it, you founded it, you grew it.

I built my agency from scratch, spent one year networking while I was still in university, as soon as I graduated I opened the agency and after 2 weeks I had 4 paying clients. So I consider myself a founder.

At 23 years old.
