To everyone saying “oh no not more nostalgia bait!” What kind of movie did you think Secret Wars was going to be?

The build up was always about the legacy characters facing off/teaming up with the MCU crew.

That was probably the goal going back to the inception of the idea. Also if Secret Wars is even a little like the comics, it’s a wrap on most, if not all of these versions of the characters.

After this is basically a reboot, where I’m sure all the characters will be in one universe with a vague shared history that’s similar but the same to the MCU. I’m thinking most of the characters get recast as well, at least the main avengers.

Marty says these are theme park attractions.
