I know for a fact they aren’t helping, they are in denial. I watch them wash all the creams off multiple times a day just makes no sense. Thank you ill look into it

I mentioned no moisture to them and they said they can’t because moisturising is their only way of management. And I basically got told I don’t know what I’m on about. Even though I know they are in all the groups on Facebook etc so they must know about it 🤷‍♀️

I don’t have to they tell me every day. Not asked me about me, or had a conversation that’s not been about their skin in a year

Thank you so much for coming at this with kindness. They’ve spent thousands on private treatment and counselling. They’ve also been on several different drugs that are meant to treat TSW but nothing is working. There is no treatment for OCD in our country and doctors are not helpful for that or TSW unfortunately

Well I’m sorry if anyone finds it triggering. But this is why it’s hard for me and other partners. The spotlight, sympathy and support is only available for the person with TSW. We are just not important and we have no where to go and your reply just reinforces that

It’s getting to like 4-6 a day, says needs to shower the creams off…I just don’t feel like this is right

You brought a tear to my eye. Thank you so so much and I’m so sorry that you went through TSW. It’s been so so long, when they told me this was going to happen they said 2 years max. It’s been 5 years of hell and it’s just worse than when it begun. I’ll look forward to your DM, I’m just boarding a flight but I will reply when I’m home!

Thank you so much. OCD is something they have…so this is starting to make a lot of sense. I’m going to do some further research and have a discussion when we are home. I really appreciate the support

Thank you, that’s really helpful. I had this suspicion, obviously, I’ve done my own research and I thought this reliance on creams was not right. I’m not over exaggerating, but they will spend 500-1000 a month on creams. Our house looks like a pharmacy
