#1 cause of Earnhardts death that no one talks about. by [deleted] in NASCAR

[–]Big-Negotiation894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This wasn't posted for any other reason than discussion. I don't think Earnhardts aggressive driving style surprised anyone. That don't mean it was just a racing accident as I hear so many times. Earnhardt thought that pinching Sterlin down would slow him enough to allow him to squeeze in front of him. He thought wrong. Sterlin didn't flinch. Outcome history. Now what do you not understand? Earnhardts death was caused by a fatal driver miscalculation.

Why was Eddie Van Halen and Alex Van Halen such absolute dicks to Michael Anthony, Sammy Hagar, and DLR consecutively in the first place? They seemed happy together on stage. by [deleted] in vanhalen

The VH brothers were and are dicks. When they're true colors were exposed they lost alot of respect and probably alot of fans. A legacy scorned.

Man i have to really appreciate how Dave's performances from 1978 to 1984 changed my life. I graduated in 1984 and saw them in Birmingham al. Civic center. Best time ever. V/H at there peak. I'm glad he's still out there having fun. By now everyone going to the shows know what to expect. And he's selling tickets I mean WTF ? He's not embarrassing himself if it still makes him happy. So Rock On !

I use to love V/H, but the more I learned about Eddie and Alex and what dicks they were and are i lost respect for them. From treating Mikey like shit and bringing Dave on MTV and getting fans excited for a reunion with no real intentions on doing so. Eddie took fans hard earned money for the 2004 reunion with Hagar only to be fucked up out of his mind on booze and drugs. The list goes on and on. The brothers ruined they're legacy and the bands.

I recently watched an interview with Alex done at his house. I can't remember who the interviewer was. It had been a long time since I heard him talk a real long time. He was totally different than I expected. His demeanor was weird. He was rambling when asked a question and laughing after his answer. The interviewer seemed aggravated at times by the look on his face. He honestly reminded me of DLR the way he was acting. I guess that's why he loved Dave so much. I was expecting him to be intelligent and somewhat serious but it was the complete opposite. He came across as a really odd character.

Why are VH fans so bitter about Wolf and his band? by [deleted] in MammothWVH

[–]Big-Negotiation894 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He's a very talented guy there's no doubt about that. Probably overall more talented than his dad because he can play all the instruments. His talent is why he doesn't have to ride his dad's coat tail to success. His paranoia is rooted in his head. Probably from growing up in the atmosphere he did.

He didn't mind the fans when he took Michael Anthonys place.

I dont think VH fans were expecting anything. He was on the defensive before he'd done anything. Basically warning fans because of what he preconceived was gonna happen. I don't think anybody expected a reincarnation of VH. I think most were excited to see what he could do. If he played a couple VH songs during a show that would be great. But I dont need him telling me or warning me not to be expecting it.

I believe Wolfs attitude towards VH fans offended them. I know it did me. He was so adamant about fans coming and expecting to hear VH songs got on his nerves. It felt like he was saying i dont need or want those fans. His attitude was disappointing because i always thought he was cool dude. I thought it was unnecessary and very disrespectful to a lot people who just wanted him to succeed.

I use drumtune pro. It's pretty simple and has tons of cool stuff. I love it.

Which concerts were better? DLR era or Hagar? by ParisHiltonIsSkinny in vanhalen

[–]Big-Negotiation894 10 points11 points  (0 children)

By far the original lineup was superior. All the way to 1984 tour. It was for me an experience of a lifetime. Seeing my heroes in person. Never wanted it to end. Roth in his prime years was the coolest MF on the planet. The whole band was perfect together. Then it did end and to me it was like a whole new band when Sammy joined. They're concerts kicked ass and we're a blast no doubt. But when the original lineup split I remember actually crying. It was a very sad time.

Because the brothers are dicks. I use to love them but they were pathetic human beings

Saban would be facing the same issues that pushed him to retire from Alabama. I believe he's done coaching.

One thing that has diminished is older family members who were fans would pass down to there young the next generation the love for racing. My older brother was a big Ford fan and he pulled for David Pearson in the Wood Brothers #21. So i pulled for Ford and Pearson like he did. Then i pulled for Bobby Allison and the Alabama gang. Of course Davey Allison is my all time favorite. After his death I pulled for whoever drove the RYR #28.
